We are on a new site and I think it's going to be loaded. Watch for yourself.

- It's been a while but we are back on a new site sifting for ancient Native American history. This location has so much potential and we are just getting to the heart of it. Hope you enjoy the artifacts recovered in this video.

So awesome to see a full video again. I remember digging sites in the Carolinas and finding the shells all over the place. I am so ready to head back south. Such a cool site. Ready to see more
Although it would be nice to win something, I’m just thankful for you and your family and friends and the videos that you produce. I’ll be 70 next month (God willing) and because of the poor choices I made when younger, I can’t do any of the activities that I had planned to do upon retirement. Young people please stay away from drugs and that includes cigarettes. I can barely make it across the street to get the mail. Don’t think that it won’t happen to you or that you’ll stop before it’s too late. Thanks so much for letting me see what you see. I share your excitement with every find. Your mama and daddy raised a fine young man!
David, Wise words

Glad to see you back man
Good stuff Zach! Good to see a long form video from yall again! Congratulations and continued good luck!
Thanks Spike! My time is stretched thin. Felt good to get some footage together.
Where does one get a core sample device?
Anticipation!!
Dig the top of that hill!
Hurd you say cliff. You may want to check that out depending on the direction it's facing. Best of luck boys
I'm glad you are back at it!
Always enjoy, Thanks.
Core soil sampler tools can be found at Golf Course maintenance supply places too! Glad you guys got on another new spot!! Our spot is getting plowed next month so im excited!! Good luck yall!!
The tool is nice. One of my metal detecting buddies showed us his. The place we are digging is similar. The core of the stuff seems to be in the darker dirt from topsoil down to about 16-18” deep. We are finding some darker dirt about 24-30” deep in some spots. When we hit that lighter dirt it seems it is a lot harder and we did run across a 6ftx8ft area that was like a bed of rocks. We stopped going lower there because it was so hard to dig the dirt. We have found a couple cases of points, artifacts, copper trade pieces and some fantastic things like drilled teeth. Good luck buddy. Maybe one day we can meet up and dig together
My grandpa used to take me field walking and he would find them all the time. I’m 31 now and recently got back into hunting. Would love to see a video about how you go about deciding where’s a good sifting spot! Southern illinois, Lower Ohio river valley here
I've got videos where I go into detail about why I dig and how I decide to dig in certain locations.
Too bad you lost the other spot but this ones looking good brother👍🇺🇸
when you first get to a location... how do you where to probe or where to dig...this is what stresses me is that I don't know how to know where to probe and/or dig...thank you for your time..
Looks like you're having a lot of fun! I know I do when I go artifact hunting!
Man I wouldn't be leaving that spot for quite some time!! Love the pottery!

Glad to see some full videos again, great stuff and keep at it!
This looks like a great site, Zach. Hopefully it will give you a loads of smokers.
so crazy how those arrow heads were held by some native Indian so long ago.....
Man I'm digging a good spot but the majority of what I find are broken bases. Does that seem to be common on campsites from what y'all see?
My spot, I also find a lot of broken pieces. Really depends on what happened to the land there. I know my spot use to be turned up with disc's. They don't anymore, I've attributed it that and trash piles.
Most fun ever had digging was an undisturbed site in a trash pit
Florida?
Whats debatage?
Two different points
What kind of tripod are you using for your sifter?
Deer feeder from Bass Pro.
@@ZachByrd man that's a good idea. Just ordered one, can't wait to try it out!
