Baby, I'm here bc I was doing braids every 3 months. I was doing everything right. Or so I thought. My hair was so damaged. Snap, crackle, and pop when I combed or brushed it. The breakage was so uneven, too. I am not a stranger to clippers , so I am cutting it off and starting over... again😭.
I literally just had this to happen to my hair. I kept it moisturized and oiled but there was soooooooo much hair loss. I'm struggling to keep but I'm about to go to the barbershop soon. Cut it off and start over.
👍🏽 I haven’t had those kind of braids since 2006. However, knowing that I’ll be surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and in the pool for 7 nights, I knew I wanted a more durable hairstyle. I’m on the hunt for a professional knotless braider, but I will only have the braids a safe distance passed my length. I’ll at least moisturize when I’m not in the water. 😬
@tauruslove88 What are thicker strands of hair? You young folks sit around and make up stuff... I've been doing hair since the 70s... My mind and finger never said, this person hair strands are thicker than the other person. Are you saying that your hair is weaker?
If you’re a licensed cosmetologist you should know that some hair strands are thick like a tree branch and some are thin like a switch. Skinnier/finer strands are not as strong as thick hair strands. For ex. pubic hairs are generally thick hair strands and vellus body hair is fine.
“Cuz I’m done! That’s enough” 😭😭😭🤣
😂her tone tore me up 😂😂😂
I love your videos so much
Lint gunk acts like a scissors if you keep your braids in too long.
"Gone"😂😂😂

Also, try to stay away from the gel they use. The gel is loaded with alcohol

No lint ball napes. Got it!😂
😂😂
I read "lint ball naps" for a minute. I thought about my grey naps and laughed.
No lint no problem
What about scalp braids with added hair
Same!
Sounds like the problem is the hair weave not braiding of the hair with no hair weave❤

Braids have been growing my hair for decades...
Do you have thicker hair strands? I have finer strands and my hair can’t take them, but I love them!😢

@@tauruslove88my hair is thin now too compared to growing up so yes I agree I am trying to hold on to what I got left lol.
