    Anyone notice that after using the Cruise Control and then disengage it or even turn it off, that it seems to almost feel like it has some slight drag or resistance, kinda feels like when u drive a car with the ebrake on at times but then other times it glides as it should ?? Just wondering, if so, anyone know how to remedy it, I know it's fine though I just bad a 3rd of inspections done and it passed with flying colors, so Idk what it could be?! Thankx

    Just bought mine a few months back, found a diamond in the ruff about 2 and a half hours away in another state, as soon as I opened the door to the driver's side, I was sold, for a 2013 is now 2023 almost, and this baby was clean as hell! I luv this Car, and I'm doing everything I can do to make sure that everything stays as beautiful as it can. As time goes by.. Anyone have any suggestions on how to help slow down the normal Aging process that our cars usually present after abit. Or just any tips from O.G. Owners ?! The only things I would say Is sort of an annoyance, is the Cue system and how slow it is to react or just to simply attempt using voice cues in order to setup Navigation, or anything else for that matter ,even while using the touch screen it seems to be under powered as per the amount of RAM or Virtual Memory it has. And the only other thing is that I wish that the Manual Power shifters were tuned or calibrated much better, it just doesn't feel natural at all while trying to use them to in order to get abit more controlled power and torque from the drivetrain.drive train.. etc.. Again anyone with tips or suggestions please hmu! Thanks for the tips on the key phob bro!!

    Thinking about getting one. What has been the most expensive repair that you've done to this caddy? How many miles on it?

    • @datboynat11
      @datboynat11  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jay fulton I no longer have the caddy I sold it months ago. The caddy had nearly 290,000 miles on it and it was still running great. The most expensive thing I did to the caddy was brakes. The caddy had those big expensive brembo brakes and rotors and they were nearly a thousand dollars to replace including labor

      @jasonherrera4255 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Urban Tech NYC hey 👋. I'm aware I'm commenting on a old video but I am also looking to sell my car to get an xts. Through out the life of the car what did you have to do to the car
      For example you said brakes. How many miles did you put on the car?

    • @datboynat11
      @datboynat11  ปีที่แล้ว

      I put 89k miles on the car, the only issue I had with the car was sometimes the air suspension wouldn't go down when I park the car, it would stay up the entire time. But that was due to the age. I also experienced misfires and a bit of jerking from the transmission. But you have to take into consideration that the car was on its original motor and transmission and I never had the transmission service during my ownership of the car and I'm sure the previous owners didn't service the transmission either. But overall it was a great car.

    • @jasonherrera4255
      @jasonherrera4255 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Urban Tech NYC and on top of that the car has over 200k when you got it. Do you think it's a good buy today? One of those go for around $13k. I was going to sell my 12 altima for it. Thanks for the quick response I really appreciate it. Do you have any other additional notes about the car?

    • @datboynat11
      @datboynat11  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jasonherrera4255 if you're going to buy one at around 200k miles, make sure you do a thorough inspection of the air suspension, because that tends to fail at around the 200k miles mark, and they're expensive to replace. also make sure you test drive the car to see if you notice any misfires and late throttle response, cause the trans also starts having issues around the 200k miles mark. Also check the electronic glove box, they also fail at some point. Another thing that stops working is the infotainment screen. And lastly the tail light and brake light diodes can randomly fail because when it rains water gets inside the diodes. It's a common issue on the xts

    • @datboynat11
      @datboynat11  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, maybe there’s an issue with the key itself. Do your research before going to the dealership cuz you don’t want to get charged a crazy price for something as simple as a key. And also check to see if your key is an original Cadillac key from the factory

    • @datboynat11
      @datboynat11  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Snoozinatthetop it wasn’t expensive, it’s adorable depending on the mileage. Mines was high mileage so I only paid 5k for it at the Time.

      Urban Tech NYC I’m looking to buy a used one with 88K miles on it. Going to see it soon. Just wanna check out how reliable this car is

    • @datboynat11
      @datboynat11  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@snoozinatthetop they’re very reliable as long as you keep up with maintenance. Mines had 290k miles on it when I sold it. The only reason why I sold it was because there was an issue with some sensor in the transmission. They’re very reliable cars. Just make sure you test drive the car for at least 20 minutes before you buy it, test everything before handing your money to the seller, test the brakes and gas pedal, test all the windows, and the mirrors, make sure they’re working. Make sure there’s no knocking sounds in the engine, drive the car on the highway, take it up to at least 65 mph to make sure everything is good. Also ask the seller for any service records on the car, or a car fax report.

    The daytime running led lights are considered "non serviceable". Which means you have to buy new headlight fixtures, or service them yourself. Put them in the oven at 275%° for 15 minutes to get them apart. Same to get them back together, but you'll need new sealant strips to put in "if you want it to last anyway".

    Correction! Just looked up some shit on the XTS, and the daytime running light is a diode replacement, wheather it be driver or passenger side. I've always owned a CTS, so the XTS is a new thing to me lol. Totaled my '11 CTS a month ago because somebody pulled out in front of me in an intersection. Totally not my fault by the way. Bought a 2011 CTS Coupe with 50,000 mi on it, turns out it was a flood vehicle!!! So basically I got forced into a 2013 XTS with almost 100,000 more miles on it than the one I bought!!! The XTS is a nice car I'm not going to lie, but it's just not what I was looking for and not what I want. I want my CTS sportiness back. It's not that I dislike the car it's just that it's not my style. I want something with some rear wheel drive and some ass on it that I can put a tune in lol.
