I also improved the reflection and absorption calculations as they were a bit scuffed, so the water should look a little better

Love how I always feel like I have to watch these videos in HD for obvious reasons, but my internet can barely handle it, causing it to stutter as it buffers, as if even the video alone is moments away from causing my GPU to burst into flames lol.
Cool as all hell as per usual. Would honestly be super neat to see someone recreate that one cut Episode 2 blob NPC using this addon. I feel like this has already surpassed everything Valve's done with fluids, so much so that doing that would honestly probably give us a better idea of how Valve would have wanted that NPC to appear than it likely would have actually appeared if it weren't cut. If that makes sense, lol.

Despite following this entire project from the start, this video in particular, looks so unreal. It just looks like it was prerendered.
Reflection and light absorption were tweaked, but it feels so impactful

Even though the audio was cut, at least you made it captivating still. And people could easily recreate Chaos(final form) from Sonic X, that would be awesome! Oh! And maybe make characters that look like they control water or other elements too!

this is a random suggestion or idea i had really but it would be cool to see some gwater2 support to work with the entities of the Stargate CAP mod so i could teleport gwater2 with a stargate or something into certain areas!!
anyway besides the idea, the video and showcase and the mod improvement is awesome as ever!!!!!!!

you could make some cool water planets with this
Actually all it would require is enough water. Place a wooden pallet with a makeshift sail on top of the water planet and it would make for some beyond killer visuals, like for one of those gmod main menu screens. You could go farther and make islands and continents on the water planet if your prop building skills are good enough

It'd be super cool if the black hole could delete particles it came in contact with, both as an effect and also as a way to clean up water particles in *only* a certain area, without deleting all of the particles in the world.

I've tried the stock GWater addon (the one thats on the workshop) and seeing how SMOOTHLY that runs, this is definitely promising!

Upcoming in 0.6b - GWater is now GState, being able to simulate gasses, liquids, and solids. Oh and plasma.

I mean I guess you could just increase the radius but does the force at which the water is pulled in get affected by how far away it is?
radius can be increased, there's a limit, although its probably possible to bypass
and yeah, radius doesn't influence particle force
