You’re welcome! It’s a pretty amazing little box. I’m going to post a bigger picture overview video as well, covering more features. But that might be a bit. Let me know if there’s anything else I could help clear up!

@@Duskmos looking forward to the full overview vid for sure! i'm curious to see it run with an aux send to some pedals. also curious if it can send midi and audio at the same time? like can i use 2 tracks to send midi slider/knob info and then 4 tracks for audio ? can't seem to find clear answers but would love to know any other workflow tips/ideas! thanks again!

I haven’t looked into midi control schemes at all to be honest with you, but I’ll definitely cover the aux send and return. Going to make a short how-to video about it soon, independent of the reviews. :)

Happy to! This one is just allll about the effects section, but my other video will cover more functions - I think I might even try and hook up a TON of gear to it to show how it can bring everything together. =)

Is it possible to use an external FX pedal/processor for insert FX, or is send and return the only option for this?

I'm not a master of mixer routing tricks, but I did read somewhere on lines or elektronauts where someone did what you want to do (I think lol) by using the cue output and sending the audio out pre-fader to an effect, returning the processed audio to another channel, and muting the source channel. I haven't tried this and would probably personally just unplug the original input and physically run the effect before the input, that way you're not wasting another channel on the return, but maybe this would work for you? Hope that gives you some ideas!

@@Duskmoscool, thanks for the reply! I don't own a TX-6 yet but I'm very tempted. Hopefully will pick one up before too long

Thanks for the video - any idea if I'm taking audio via the USB how I can apply fx to that? I can't seem to figure it out. Thanks in advance.

I haven’t messed with that myself! Do you want to add TX-6 effects to incoming audio over usb OR add effects to the audio coming out of the TX-6 over usb? Like in your daw?

So no effects chain? U should decide to use delay or reverb for FX1, right?

    • @Duskmos

Correct, no big chain, but a global send, and then the insert. As far as what to use on FX1, that's up to you, but yeah most likely you'd prob end up using a delay or reverb from FX1.
