Thank you. I plan on doing something more long form with descriptions in the future. I don't do lessons as I don't really have the time or means of setting something like that up. But maybe something to consider in the future 🤔
As a sampler, it's very powerful and flexible and it can be done. It's a valid use case but if you're hoping to have something that you can live input for improvised beats over other instruments like a traditional drum machine, I'd say it's one of its weaker points. If you want to have patterns that are pre-made and you just need to trigger them, it should work solid for that!
wow! great work :) i am jealous, everytime i see a video there is such a nicely sorted bank of sounds. i bought mine used and it is a total mess. full of samples that don't even play and the filesystem is completely chaotic. is there a place to find a nice package of well sorted samples and sounds to start the m8 journey?
I know 80s and syntheave but can M8 Tracker MK2 do more than these? It seem like everyone buy it just to make these even rhe promotion ads, also if I want my first music learning and making device, should I get it or OP-1 Field, just one without getting any extra addition to make music like ultra modern music?
You can make anything you want on it. Drum n bass, techno, acid, synthwave, footwork, pop... hell, people use it to make metal. Here is a playlist of community submitted songs from the last meetup -> ( th-cam.com/video/OkSNK664NaA/w-d-xo.html ) Personally I do NOT think the OP-1F is a good first music making device as its workflow is quite esoteric and it is VERY expensive for something that is in many ways painfully restrictive for someone who is just getting started. But you could say the same about trackers, so, it really comes down to the workflow that's best for you. So unless you NEED hardware to start your music journey, it doesn't hurt to start with some free software and plugins and go from there.

jeez was about to comment that this reminds me of RMRs older stuff, but without edits. amazing
How is this not just 10 minutes of looking for the right hi hat sample?
This tbh
You can settle on one in ONLY 10 minutes? I'm jealous.
Cool a tracker. My cousin was a huge fan of these. It's great to see them back. Long live the Amiga :)
jeez you're fast. to me it's one of the most intuitive UIs out there and I never used a tracker before.
jesus christ dude you’re fast with this thing, that sounded great
Absolutely incredible. I finally bothered to learn the fill shortcuts so I could follow along.
This is pretty much me every lunch break and now I have 100s of unfinished tracks and patterns 😅
@@raoulduke8094 this is the way.
Wow this is amazing. I haven't picked up mine in what feels like forever. Forgot how fun and fast it can be.
Very cool! Seeing how you put a jam together, and so fast, it’s awesome!
This is some next level speed 🔥🔥
Totally digging it. Love it. I just finally managed to get my headless to work. Gonna try to go in-depth into it.
What I love is that I totally get what you are doing. I'm not that fast yet, but much faster than I was a month ago.
How proficient are you now? Trying to get a feel for the learning curve. Worried I'll burn out before getting good with it
Inspiring, need to jam my headless into a sensible case, the use of the selection box and the multiple sidechaining techniques were very helpful
Had mine a day and loving it so far..love this..I need to learn how to do those fills! Great track!
Learned a ton from this crash course. Thank you for sharing!
Next time I do this I hope to add captions or narration to explain more of what goes into something like this. Thanks for watching!
the synth sounds like a swarm of bees fist bumping. Also the way you move around this device is insane good stuff man!
nice going mikey, now you done it
Muscle memory, bes! Loved it.
Dirtywave M8 Speetrun I LOVE IT. I hope i can do the same. In 2-5 years

Does that library of sounds you menu through come with the M8 or those need to be purchased separately? If separate, where’s a good resource for them?
The M8 does come with most of those presets as well as a library of samples!
