As someone who is trying to learn it this traditional way - any pointers? It´s hard finding some guidance regarding the logos and art sketching other than trying on my own to copy album covers haha
@@kibatsuki I would recommend following my mate Angel on Instagram @avengedcreations - he posts videos of his traditional drawing process for metal logos using multiple layers of grease paper to build up the form or add symmetry and then using a lightbox to trace over his pencil drawn form with calligraphy pens or pro markers
@@kibatsuki Yeah Avenged Creations, Moonroot, and Misanthropic Art would be good to follow on the socials for some insight.
For me, I just sit down with a piece of paper over a lined or grid sheet or surface, then just start with some lettering, and build up off of that once I have some ideas formed with shaping, then add all the cool drippy and gritty nuances, fill it in, then scan it and do some digital editing/ finishing.

How to draw spikes using lasso? Detail. Please.
theres no shortcut here, just just draw the shapes as you would with brush tool but use lasso tool instead. Then fill your lasso selection with black by pressing shift F5 and selecting black then press enter ⚔️
Question here: ¿Is it legal flip the last letter just to make the logo more symetrical? sometimes im struggling with that...

What is this Free Lasso Tool please ? 🙏🏻
The free lasso tool is the regular lasso for making selections - it is the 4th icon down on your tools panel on the left hand side of Photoshop. It looks like a little rope like a cowboy uses! ⚔️
@@SpearheadMedia oh, so it's just your hand wich draws like trembling, it's not a special can draw with trashy effect, right ? Just your skill ?
Yeah exactly mate, you just use the lasso to draw rather than the brush because it gives your selection sharper edges. When you draw a shape with the lasso and close the selection you can press shift+F5 and press enter to fill the selection with black ⚔️
