Been binge watching your videos to learn the craft a bit more (especially since I can't draw lol) and gotta say, this is impressive as hell! Would love to see a Minatory logo video (basically the likes of Necrofiler, Moth, Qroh etc.) but I imagine that would be closer to standard Death Metal.

Hey absolutely loving your videos dude!! I just recently upgraded to the most recent version if PS and I can't for the life of me figure out how to fill the lasso without the paint bucket? Can't seem to find it anywhere could you tell me how you do it? Cheers 😁
Hey, friend! I imagine you've probably got it figured out by now, but have you tried Edit -> Fill once you've got your area lasso-selected?
Not sure if that's how it works in Photoshop specifically, as I use a Photoshop alternative, but I imagine it's likely the same!
Try alt + delete :)

how do you get thos even spread of spikes and valleys when using the lasso to trace the letters. some sort of plugin or is this hardware based ?

Nice one mate, I'm really glad to hear that - I hope you enjoy my future vids too! As for the detailing with the lasso tool, I don't use any plugins, but I draw with a display tablet which really helps with controlling the details. Hope that helped boss, and cheers for tuning in 🙏🙏

Man how'd you work the lasso tool like that
I use a drawing tablet - a huion kamvas pro to be precise. It's much easier to draw with the lasso when using a display tablet. Hope that helps ⚔️

Howdy mate - I use a drawing tablet (a huion kamvas pro to be precise) but you can also draw with your mouse, although using a mouse will be trickier and a bit head melting haha. Best of luck with it ⚔️

This is amazing, though I would love a tutorial on stuff like this in real time or at least less rushed, cuz it's hard to keep up when each step goes by so fast and you have to know a bunch of photoshop lingo beforehand, so it's not very beginner friendly. Maybe that's just me? I don't know.

Wouldn't logo making be better off in Adobe Illustrator or any other vector software, rather than making it into a raster software program?
Yes, if you plan on making a 3 meter backdrop, but for most underground projects raster is completely fine for records, merch etc
