- Every metalhead has seen one of those band logos that makes you go, "Huh?" Sometimes you can make out a letter or two, but after that it's all sticks and goo. Can anyone actually read those things? Well, we put two actual death metal bands in a head-to-head battle to see who can read the most illegible band logos - including some you might never expect! The members of Texas heavy hitters Frozen Soul versus Ohio's guttural ghouls Sanguisugabogg.

I feel like this game would be better if the logos were still semi-legible, so they can actually attempt to read it. At this point it's basically about who knows the most bands and logos because nobody can read any of them.

This is more "recognize the band logo" vs. "read". There are a TON of small time logo artists out there who would probably love to participate for free and submit some personal practice work for this.

One of the few that I actually got. My friend showed me Sigh in like 2001. Didn't really get into it, but I know of them.

When I was in Colombia my friend and I met this cool couple from Colorado and we talked for a long time. I wore a Cattle Decapitation hat for most of that trip. After talking for an hour + the guy was like, "oh, is that a Cattle Decapitation hat?" I was so surprised he recognized it, but realized it took an hour for him to read the logo. Sadly I lost that hat to a Venezuelan pimp on the Caribbean Coast...

I somehow didn't see that one. I got Tomb Mold, Blood Incantation, Wolves In The Throne Room, Eximperi-whatever it ends with, XAVLEG..., Outer Heaven, Phoebe Bridgers, Rihanna... maybe one or two more. More of the reason I got them was knowing the band or recognizing their logo, instead of actually reading

Im proud lol, I got Tomb Mold in about just 1 minute without having heard of them or seen their logo before. Although obviously that's probably gonna be like the easiest one on here judging by how hard the first few were (unless they show a band I know and have seen there logo before).

Tomb Mold fuckin kills dude! they’re kinda similar to Witch Vomit or Necrot. if you like either of those bands, i highly suggest bands like Cerebral Rot, Hyperdontia, Phrenelith, Malignant Altar, and Cryptworm :)

I've been running this game with my friends on facebook for years, with the additional rule that if you know the band you aren't allowed to guess. Just remembering band logos isn't very fun.
I'd say the fact that none of them could read Sigh's logo is a good example why this rule is necessary.

I can't believe I got one that they didn't get (Sutekh Hexen). A fair amount of easy ones (Sigh, Tomb Mold, Blood Incantation, WITTR, Phoebe Bridgers, even the super long one. That binary one was impossible, unless you've seen it before, I guess.
