Great vid again bro, one thing how do I get my team to get those green links in the tactics quicker? Is it to do with training match tactics and teamwork?
@@StingerNeilD I had a player who had, plays simple passing+killers ball often+plays one two+dictates tempo. Sounds like a strange set of traits but he was an absolute best, I think the match engine didn't know how to deal with it. I was never able to replicate it again since he was a regen that came with some of those and the others got them by mentoring but when trying to train those manually, they would never learn them.
I would not be so optimistic about traits, simply because not every manager (especially a beginner) understands how a player will act on the field in each specific role. Most often, a person downloads tactics from the internet and the only part of game he wants to see is more goals then opponent has, not bothering of tactical styles. So a lot users play fm like a collection-card game like Heartstone or smth like that (better players -> better results -> better players -> better results etc). Besides, even good coach staff often suggest ridiculous traits for player's role. For ex i managed to get an assistant from china that has best attributes for coaching/tactical knowledge (everything almost at 15 that is insane) in my irish league and he insists on "runs with the ball down left" for my left IF(att). On the other hand he wants to train my right Winger(sup) "runs with the ball through center". Both examples totally destroys style my team plays. And i am still shit at tactics/roles (i think my strongest feature in this game is working with what i have, training shedules, turning those omega-youngsters into chad-beasts, and selling them for ~1kk to Skybet league 1-2 teams) So i wouldn't rely on staff advices either. BUT i would definetly like to see some kind of a guide from you, Stinger, about good "universal" traits that make ST/MC/MRL/DC/DRL/GK (players by position) more efficient and don't badly ruin player instructions. If there are some in game ofc.
It has also been proved that every trait you add will diminish player potential, not by a huge margin but it will definitely will happen, so you should only add a trait if you really think it will benefit from it substantially.
If only there was a trait "Be better at football". I could badly use that in my current network game.

The issue to add trait to a young player - is it will slow down their development because it takes training time away
