Hi ! First of all it's an insane video dealing with a topic that only a few FM 23 youtubers tackle. I have some questions though : - You seperated positions on the field quite clearly, but what about roles ? For example, if I'm playing with a 4-2-4 with 2 DM with Segundo Volante Offensive roles, are they still consider as DM and should I still put " Comes deep to get ball " and " Dictates Tempo " on them ? - Also, you talked about Wing Forwards in this video. What if I'm playing a 4-1-2-1-2 with both Left and Right Midfielders as Inverted Winger, should I still put the same traits as for the Wing Forwards ?
I think those traits tend to result in more goals for wing forwards, whether it's right or left footers, so yeah, try and train them or scout for players with pre-existing "Curls ball"/"Places shots" traits :)
Ball-playing defenders commit some errors, but taking chances lead to fewer chances for the opposition. The best BPD trait is "bring back out of defense." Don't want to leave a drive-by negative comment; "looks for pass rather than trying to score" on wingbacks is genius, and I'm ashamed I didn't think of it.
great video mate, just a question for you. Is there a specific age to start training traits on young players or does it not hinder their normal training?
Good question, we'll try and go into training players on these specifics in a video soon. This has got a bit on the basics: www.guidetofm.com/training/individual/
Couple of these are hard to add. Curls ball is only teachable via mentoring as is, I think, arrives late in opposition box? Gets crowd going might also be but its been a while since I tinkered with traits much so don't quote me.
@@daisyme_rollin it is close to stopping the play. I guess the negative side of it is if the opposition press and steal the ball from your player, it does not work with counter attack tactics. I see it as a good trait since It helps my team keep possession and let his teammates get into their regular position to attack. Also your player needs to have good strength, dribbling, and vision.
Nice one, bro. Good job!
Great video once again, mate! I've recently found that a combo of arrives late in box & moves in channels are killer traits for a Segundo Volante😁
Yeah we like moves into channels too!

Yeah I've just struggled with BPDs this year. Previous FMs they were definitely the best CB role. Lots of others still swearing by them.
brilliant video
I have to say...Rasmus Højlunds form on my save has been something else ever since I put tries first-time shots on him.
Mate?
He won the ballon d’or in 27/28 for me. Unreal player
@@G.ak1n Just won it in 2025/26 in my new Bayern save
Does this translate to fm 24 aswell?

Really good question, we're actually not sure. We'll look into it!
Great video but how do I find the option to start the trait as I keep getting the similar using weaker foot on the goal keep with he already has

Hi
I have rasmus hujlund and want to teach him
Get crowd going trait
How can i make it
how to train curl balls?

You forgot dwells on ball (one of the best traits ever)
What is the use of that trait? Is there a negative effect?
