Singapore Airlines is the way to go - Premium economy looked really good - I was lucky enough to fly business class with them to Australia from London and they were superb. The Elizabeth Line is a great service - much cheaper than the Heathrow Express and also goes to better central London stops. The hotel looks small but that's London - everything got much more expensive with the pandemic and never went back...hope you had a great time in any case!
We had a wonderful time in London. Singapore have 4 flights a day out of Melbourne so I use them a lot. Last year I had enough points to do the New York to Singapore flight in Business - there is a video of my trip here somewhere.
We use the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow as we stay near Paddington Station and it is very easy. Going back to Heathrow - we catch the Heathrow Express because with an advance booking, and a "Two together" Railcard it is about the same cost. We would do the Heathrow Express both ways except we can't get the Railcard until we get to Paddington.
Thank you! I live in Brisbane and am thinking of booking the SQ308 day flight to London in PE when I fly over next. It was great to get a review. Looks wonderful.
Enjoyed your vidio ,good to see Singapore have upped there game on food and service .long way to London ,recommend 6 hour break for sleep at Alexandra airport hotel ,at Changi Airport
No, it was fine. They drew a curtain for most of the flight. I tend to sit at the rear to reduce the number of other passengers caught in my video footage!
Great job buddy! Planning a trip to Singapore in 2025. Probably flying from London on the A380 again. Any options British Airways, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways or direct flight with Singapore Airlines or Qantas? What do you recommend? Maybe something else? P.S. The only ones we haven't flown yet are Etihad and Qantas.
I recently flew Singapore Airlines from London to Singapore then Singapore to Auckland, NZ. I was in Premium Economy seats on both legs. I have to say that Air New Zealand was far superior, the seats were more comfortable, the legroom was so much better, and the food and wine were far superior to the Singapore Airlines offerings. Maybe it was the laid back friendly ambience of Air New Zealand compared to the reserved and slightly stuffy professiona approach of Singapore crew...
I flew PE with Singapore airlines recently. The food was good though we only received 2 meals on our 13 hour leg from London to Singapore. We didn’t know you could order snacks and we weren’t offered any. One disappointment was that you didn’t have aces to the lounges included, and you weren’t offered a flight toiletries pack. I had a better experience with Qantas.
Just flew PE London return all round good product especially with book the cook option only let down is lack of toilets on the 777 no problem on the A380

Thank you for sharing your trip. Yes, having to go to the lounge before your trip.😊
Glad you enjoyed once again our national airline and you will be happy to note that SQ will upgrade their seat product in the next one year or so...❤

Thanks for the Prem Economy look on Singapore Airlines, something to consider
The red eye flights with Singapore airlines are always cheaper than the daytime flights, so keep that in mind.
Excellent video- appreciate the great info for my future travels
I enjoyed this video!! Your music selection is very classy.. 👍🏽😊
Thank you so much!!
I Like Premium Economy Product.Great Trip Report

That's a good tip if you are flying back out of Heathrow. We left the UK on the Eurostar to Paris this time.
@@lindseyrea9237 we do the same
So well done & great humour

Just watched the video and loved it. Now subscribed. Off to Sydney in a couple of weeks.
Thanks for the subscription. Have a great trip! Nice time of year to visit Sydney
With Singapore airlines?
5:33 Didn’t realise the severed ( Mc Donald’s ) Egg Mc Muffin on SQ Premium Economy?! 😂
Nice review guy's, hope you enjoy the rest of your trip
Thanks so much!
Nice trip report!
thank you
I love a mid-flight banana :)
LOL
Noticed you were seated right at a galley and maybe rest rooms? Did that disrupt your flight in any way?

I would stick with Emirates or Singapore. I haven't been impressed by Qantas international food service lately. I haven't flown Etihad either.
Avoid BA at all costs, then…just have a look at Non stop Dan’s option of them.😊
Forget the hard music at the start its in the middle of the night

I haven't tried Air New Zealand PE, but I have heard good things about it. Might try it next time I go to the USA. Thanks for watching.
Nope. Qatar Airways is far superior than Air New Zealand for sure
Was it very noisy being so close to the toilets?
Not that I recall.
No no no no NO
It's a flat bed for me.
PY is not much different than Y.
Nice video.
Ok, relax… we’re not all made of money like you are. Some people have different priorities!
Do they have one of these lounges in Sydney
Yes. www.executivelounges.com/airport-lounges/sydney-airport-the-house
What was the name and location of the hotel in London on your arrival
It is the Radisson Blu Edwardian Grafton Hotel, 130 Tottenham Court Rd. I'll be releasing a video review of it later this week.
