If you step on the brake doing pedal to the Metal at standing you can do LC. Then it´s faster at start. We´ve got this car, it´s a real tracl toy with offroad abitions.
i own a rs .... 218 ps, 54,5 ps per cylinder .....imagine, double motor is 3,2 liter and 436 ps ...... remember a gtr 35 first edition is a 3,6 v6 biturbo and 480 ps ......this little engine is like the small brother
The CVT robs top end power a lot. It accelerates quick, then suddenly slows down at 190. Or maybe it has a limiter. The manual can do 220. Also, I'm planning to put this engine into my Rogue Sport, along with the manual transmission once I saved enough.
Why does the CVT gets duch a bad rep ? I guess the "manual" mode is fake/simulated gears, but it still sounds great, must feel great and the day you wanna go limp/papy mode you just put it in D, like on the highway and don't think about it anymore. Not sure a manual juke nismo is absolutely required tbh
thats what i'm thinking too , it's not THAT BAD , and it even tries to simulate gear shifts unlike certain other CVT's that are well...just sad. This one atleast it's trying.
Its bad because its a piece of shit, if you buy one second hand you will 10000% have faults with the gearbox because nobody cared to do an oilchange and due to the fact that if you cruise or kick down a lot the gearbox chain will wear out the two semi-spheres( cant rememeber the name in English). To rebuild one is expensive, plus CVTs will feel very floaty on acceleration due to the fact that its constantly adjusting the gear ratio. If you want the NISMO in automatic then you have to deal with this, otherwise i would just get the manual for the additional peace of mind.
