For the nissmo, I like the better wheels and better aero. However, I would’ve added a carbon fiber roof maybe hood and trunk lid. Stiffer suspension and more responsive turbos.
The nismo’s gearshifting is absolutely beautiful so smooth sounding. A couple cars faster than the performance which is $14,000 cheaper.? Certainly not worth it after I saw that tuned Z and what it did to the brand new GT and was able to attain that for under $10k on top of it being the base model Z , it just confirms what I’ve been saying from the beginning about the the base model z being the best model to get
This reminds me of the FX50S VS The FX50 Vettel Edition. More money with slightly more performance. Base price was around 65-75k vs 150k for the vettel.
Just have the performance Z tuned for 460-480 hp and there you good.. 95% of people that buy these cars will have them tuned anyway. No need to speed the extra money
Nismo is a beautiful car and if you ignore the price its a feel-good daily driver.
I would actaully be interested in the Nismo Z if it came with a MT. THAT AT is not great. It's okay but I'm not paying 70k for an OKAY Auto. What's more disappointing is on savages channel they interview the engineers and they KNOW people want manuals which is why they included it in the new Z and they sell way better but they somehow decided they should put the slower, crappier transmission in their PURE racing version of the car???
@@KarnageKollectibles Lucky enough for you. There is a manual transmission
Agree 100%
I think the only reason why the Nismo was so much faster was simply due to the performance being a manual. My automatic performance on 93 octane hits 60 in 3.9 to 4.0 seconds
Same thing didn't expect but wow thanks
Besides the grill the non Miami looks so much cleaner
Nismo is for motorsport, not for right-foot happy straight-line acceleration tests. It would help if you compared these two cars' lap times. The Nismo adds so much more to the underbody and drives totally different than the regular Z on the circuit.
That was my plan, but I wasn’t given an automatic:(
I don't care what anyone says. I'm gonna break the New Supra lovers rn.
IT'S NOT A SUPRA IT'S A BMW
The Z may not be fast enough, but think real hard. I have SEEN people upgrade the 400z and tune it, and it's mad crazy what it can do. I am tired of seeing these comments constantly. There are WAYYY worse cars then this one. WAY WORSE
They are known as Transgender Toyotas.
@@spiritualarchitect4276 Doesn't make a difference
@@AkiRalcolfyou can call whatever it is you want to help you cope...but it's still taking you to gapplebees 😂😂. Bro shouting at the top of his/her lungs that it's a BMW despite already being a known fact almost 6 years ago...lol.
Curious that you don't mention that the Supra is better in every measurable way. And lets face it, if it wasn't for the BMW DNA, the Supra would be just as shit as the "new" Z.. which incidentally is mostly made from very old parts! Add to this the fact that the Nismo Z still can't compete with a base model 3.0 Supra is, well.. embarrassing.
@@paulmoons It's not. It's a BMW so you can be in denial all you want
Overpriced flops is all these cars are. If you want a Z, literally go for any previous model. 400 ain't it. The idea was great, but the execution is dog shit
@@badarbiter15 100% AGREE! Its a POS!
You can get a base for cheap in cali well, where I’m at I see about a handful of listings going for as low as 44k a lot of before braking in point mileage ones like 0s up to 5k
@@mondragonmsaul308 44k for a disappointing ass car is not a good deal
You’re full of shit as well. It’s a nice road car. Fucking internet wanker
I remember when you could get a Z for about 30 grand in the early to mid 2000s. These prices are crazy.
@@FU29988 I bought a 2003 350Z Touring in October 2002 for $34k and that was pretty expensive at the time.
I’d just buy a base with a manual for driving enjoyment and slap an exhaust on for sound.
Same
From factory 350lb ft tq for a V6 that's a significant change from my 370z 270lb ft tq it's going to hit dealerships with a 35% markup minimum too been seeing them go for as high as 117k it's so insane wish Nissan audited more this is atrocious
These vehicles are way more rare than Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens, all of which I see street driven here in South Florida pretty much every day. I have yet to see a single Z.
Thats a great way to measure sales.
Ive seen a few of these around and for as small as they are..... it blows my mind that they are that heavy.
Only seen a couple in Western Australia , starting price $83000 drive away which unless you just won lotto no one would be willing to pay with the current interest rates.
From tuners point of view the Supra i6 is a better option as it's easier to work on than a V6 and makes more torque , it's just a shame Toyota didn't use a closed aluminium deck version of the 2j or go 4L inline 4j ali block similar to ford Barra motor and really cement it in jdm history.
seen the new one a few times , beautiful cars
Which model Dunlop tires did it have?
GT600

Who would spend 50-70k on either of these? They are both slow. I don’t get it.
How you gonna call it slow if you never been in one 0-60 in 3.8 seconds is not slow to me
@@Yellow_Car_Bad basically as fast as a scatpack but depends on roll top end idk. Still an interesting car. Personally the 370z nismo looks sick af to me especially the 2013 model.
@@Yellow_Car_Bad exactly
@overv434 0-60 is irrelevant when you're on the highway, the z is just too slow.
I agree
Worth the extra price? Wtf type of stupid question is that? The question is, why would any buy either overpriced cars?
I’ve seen like 4 so far since it’s released and have yet to see a Nismo. I see more cybertrucks more than the Z. Do yourself a favor wait a couple of more years and wait for the value to go down significantly. I made a major mistake buying a 2016 q60 RS400 for 65k+ when it came out when you can literally buy one now for as low as 17-25k. A huge amount that went down.
I am not sure why but I like the performance better aesthetically.
Look at all the windmills NOT spinning. The green new scam
The windmills are spinning, their just spinning so fast your missing out on all the rotations....😂😂😂
I live in Dallas, I’ve only seen one on the road and have seen 3 at the dealership…. Too bad, it’s a great looking car
The Z looks good the Supra is funny looking if they kept the Supra like the FT-1 concept I’d have one
the Nismo is what the Z performance should have been from the start and the Nismo should be more hard core then the current one. and cheaper!
It’s a 14 year old chassis on their flagship sport car. Yeah…that’s trolling.
My 08 OG nismo 350z vs nismo 370z vs New nismo Z comparision, track test, show the nismo branding evolution over the years. I'm in Canada too so would be easy to organise. Cheers
I haven't even seen a Z in person yet. Hopefully by the time I'm ready to buy one, later this year or early 2025, they need to sell them at a discount :D
We need Z nisom drag racing with Supra
we need a supra vs the z
Here for the corn crops in the wind.
Didn't even mention the fender add-ons.
Nissan has much bigger problems to address to be wasting time and resources on "trolling us".
You are located in Quebec?
No the car is with those plates, Ontario Toronto
I choose NONE 😂
Glad you liked your own comment 😂
Also, It’s like the Vette. A great starting price you’ll never see. 🖕🫵 Chevy and Nissan.
"A fricking GTR".... of course
I mean, it sounds like a GTR because they’re both V6 twin turbos. Not really surprising lol.
So its really just a q60 redsport with a mercedes 9g tronic transmission tuned by nismo🤔
I read into the whole mercedes thing.. it's really not a mercedes transmission. Mercedes gave them licensing or something for that 9 speed, but it is in fact made by jatco or something like that.
The Zupra overpowers both of these inferior Z's.
I have to disagree on that. Supra costs about the same as an M2 base yet it’s very poor. Hence why Toyota is killing the Supra
@@SamCarLegionsay what? I'm in Ontario.. Supra premium is 72k without taxes.. m2 g80 is near 80-90k.

@SamCarLegion but I did... waited 2 months and got it. No one complained on msrp. You can buy pretty much brand new ones for 72k.
The Nismo Z is laughable in price. You want to talk about mark up? They will throw a book at you on dealer options.
