    This is not accurate because when it hits 60 mark it is 10 kilometers below 60 also at 100 it's only 90 kilometers in hour at 180 it's like 165

    I have one of these ! GRS204 Facelift model. Its a very very good car ! Superb engine. The 2GR-FSE has both GDI and port injection. The dirt build up associated with GDI is negated by the port injection and the good mpg is achieved with the GDI. 0-60MPH in 5 seconds and 36 MPG on a long cruise. Brilliant cars and better still - nothing else looks like a Toyota Crown GRS204. They look different from all other Toyotas in the UK.

      @@4dshow not going anytime soon. Can be removed with an OBD, but no one cares unless you track the car. Even in Motorcycles here, many has 180 limit.

      @@kendelion remember itwas “the cool thing to do” in the late 90s/early 00s when a turbo came to NZ from japan. People would figure out how to bypass whatever method the limit was set

    driving in those high rpms scare me, you will have early wear on that poor engine. as nice as it sounds, sitting in over 4k rpms is bad

      You can drive engine in high RPM thats why you can do that :D. Ofcourse old engines might be a bit tricky. Anyway you should adjust your maintenance (oil) change intervals acording to your driving. As always, warm the engine first :).

      @@softaircz8331 just seems risky, i have seen videos online of engines blowing up because of driving in high rpms. I personally never go above 4k, with cold engine i never go above 2k

      @@mango-pm2xx well its better for fuel economy, and the wear and tear is lower ofc. Driving high revs make sens only if you need to use all the power of your vehicle (racing, but ofc towing too in some cases, etc.). There should not be any issue with reving new/well maintained engines times to times when in operating temperature. And I simply love the sound.
