Did the same on mine ☺️ I’m 5.7 30 inch inseam, according to KTM the low seat option is 840mm vs 860mm of the standard. Significant improvement on my behalf.
Hope you like the bike as much as I do

Yeah, for me the sear being g more narrow was the key. 100 % changed the bike for the better for me. Possibly the best bike I have ever owned. Secretly hoping they male the 990 smt 🤞 subscribe for more on the SMT 👍

Great video, thanks! I just ordered one of these seats. How is the feel of the new seat over the original?

It is reassuringly firm, and much better to move around on the bike. It was well worth it for me. Actually, it was the second best upgrade after the wind screen for me.

@@dean-does-stuff-81 Great, thanks so much! Pretty soon my bike will be looking a lot like yours. lol. One other upgrade I did was to remove the front white fender and replace it with carbon fender - A67508910044

Hi, can you confirm that the Powerparts seat is actually harder? So the padding is not as soft as the standard one, correct? But is it as tiring as all KTM seats or acceptable?

Hi, as i show in the video, the power parts seat is most harder, for sure.. I think it will come down to personal preference tbh. For me I like it, and I will say it was a transformation for the better. ( that is my personal experience) If the bike is just that little bit too tall for you, then I think it is money well spent. I have done a couple of 7 to 8 hour days ion this bike with the power parts seat, with only a fuel stop of around 15 mins in between. I did stand up on the pegs to stretch out my legs and back a number of times. but I didn't have any issues with my bottom... ( thanks for watching)

how tall are you, if you don't mind me asking? and can you flat foot with the new seat?

How tall I am isn't that important, because some people have long bodies and short legs and others have short bodies and long legs. The better answer is to say that my inside leg measures 32 inches. And no, I can't flat foot this bike. Balls of my feet, or 1 foot flat with the bike slightly leaning towards one side.
