Oliver is so lucky to have so many play toys. My beagle CHA (may she R.I.P) never actually liked toy's. Only the Kong of course because I always filled it with Peanut butter.. I miss her dearly. Oliver is absolutely adorable 😘😘

Oliver reminds me so much of our family beagle Jessie. She was the first dog I ever owned and she lived to about 17 and she died a few years ago. She was 75% beagle and Australian heeler. She changed my life for the better and made me a dog lover. Every time I see a beagle my heart melts. Oliver does exactly what our dog did; rolled in and ate anything disgusting that she could find, dug up our carpet and parts of our lawn. She ate my retainers and a few of my favorite shoes, etc. she also did the beagle whimper/whine and there was never a walk without her nose in the ground sniffing everything. I called her Houdini because she was a pro level escape artist. I can’t afford a dog right now, but I will be a beagle owner for life once I can. My family rescued a 3 year old beagle maybe a decade ago. He was afraid of people, had a cut in his ear, and didn’t know his name, which he had before we got him. A week after we adopted him, he began to bark a lot and show his playful side. He always liked his personal space, but was a great friend for 9 years. Then, maybe a year ago, he became increasingly violent, biting people unprovoked. His abusive past was catching up on him with his age, and my parents decided to put him down. He was a spitting image of Oliver, and I enjoy watching these videos, thinking how different his life would have been if he was treated with care when he was young.
The rolling around/back scratching is what does it for me. My heart melted when I saw that. Thanks for this, going through a bit of a rough time but this put a smile on my face!

My dog (who’s 25% Beagle, 25% American foxhound, 50% husky) does this every night too. Mostly with my husbands socks (which are the ultimate treasure) along with his fave toys and bones. He usually digs under me in the blankets and hides them there, as if he trusts me to guard them during the night. Waking up in a face full of stinky socks is so much fun lol
I love when Beagle's bring their ears up when they're concentrating or deeply interested in something. I call it, "mischief ears". Also, the look on Oliver's face when you fell down...HILARIOUS!

I had a feeling that my little Arnold wasn't feeling good so I took him to the doctor last week and I had his vet do a full blood work up on him and I got the results Saturday past and I was sure right in thinking he wasn't well his thyroid levels were very low and he has to be on thyroid meds for the rest of his life she said that is why he gained so much weight she said that he would loose weight on his own now he is more than 20 pounds overweight... give Oliver some good Lovins for me and Arnold and bigfoot my friend
