- We've had a wonderful year in California, but it's time to move back to Chicago! Oliver doesn't seem to agree, though...
Also, for those of you who are wondering, we will be uploading a series of videos of our road trip back to Illinois. Stay tuned!

Beagles aren’t big fans of change. My youngest lets me know if I don’t put his dinner bowl in the “correct” spot.
This is hilarious! Oliver is a big fan of routines too... we play the same games of "tug of war" and "sniff and seek" with him over and over again, and he loves it every time!
Yep, beagles are a bit OCD--but in a good way of course.)
I lost my previous beagle in a divorce. I don’t like that change. I have a new one . I still accidentally call her by her name
He didn’t seem to mind when they moved from Chicago, did he? He was a real good boy when traveling there, I thought!

My mother and her sisters/my aunts are all from Chicago, Illinois. They’re all totally fine being on the west coast side of the United States. My Mom, Aunts Karen and Carol live in California, while Aunt Sherry is in Oregon.
Farmer's Almanac predicts that January 2022 will be an overall stormy month with a mix of rain, snow, sleet and ice in Chicago. Poor Oliver, he would have been happier in Honolulu, which I suggested half a year ago.
Oliver was my first internets dog. The last couple days I am reconnecting to the channel. I want to praise his two dads.

@@OlivertheBeagle are you kidding? I never forgot the pulled pork either! I must have seen that video about 10 times and will be seeing it again soon. Also I feel that he should have gotten little dog cowboy boots from that boot store that was next to the pulled pork stand. Maybe next time.

It's amazing how much dogs actually understand. We don't give them enough credit. (Well, maybe Oliver gets enough credit - but most dogs don't.) 🐶😀
It terrifies me sometimes, when I realize how much my dog knows!!! If I say, “mama’s gonna hurry & get ready for walkies”, she knows she’s got an hour to kill! Yup she knows hair, makeup & clothes take a good, long while! So I get the head tilt at the word hurry! Like SHE knows what it means, but clearly (in her opinion), I do NOT! 🤸🏽♀️
Correct . They know a lot what we say to them. We had such high hopes for our new hunting dog as pup. Until Mommie turn him into a house dog. Now its Mommie doing all the hunting for things he hid's, He don't like in the house. Collar's, Leashes & anything he hate's. He is very good at this game.
Good example. Mommie going somewhere I was petting him. Out of just being mean. I told him Mommie getting ready she got take you to the vet. Within 5 mins he got up got Mommie's car key off kitchen table went back rooms somewhere, Came back got back beside me for more petting. Took Mommie weeks find her car keys. I just about sleep in dog house over that 1.. smart dog. If he got stay over night at Vet. It's the Vet call's Mommie come get him he being mean to the staff. 🤣.

😢I feel a little sadness saying “goodbye” to Oliver and his 2 daddies as they leave us here on the West Coast. But I will look forward to the trip back home to Chicago!💕Bon Voyage!!

Such a great video. Oliver wasn't sure he liked Cali at first and now he doesn't want to leave. This little dog is great at communicating and I wouldn't be surprised if he started speaking some human words soon.

You guys will make me cry. We will be raising a Beagle puppy soon, our first pet, as we loved Oliver so much. We live in the SF Bay Area, and you are always welcome back to visit. The most important for him is his family, and therefore HE will be 'at home' anywhere - together with you. And as soon as you will have started, he will love to continue the adventure from a year ago, just in the other direction.

Oliver really settled in to his California place, I'm sure once he got back to his Chicago home he loved it too and seeing all his dog friends. Looking forward to seeing the travel videos, especially any of W's drone shots. Last scene of this video was great.

Holy moly! There were quite a few giggly parts, like when Oliver took the stuffy out of the box and played with it, and when Oliver wanted to keep sheet. But I cried when Oliver didn’t want to leave. I can understand his feeling. It’s definitely hard leaving and not coming back to that place!

Before retiring I used to spend a good amount of time in Chicago for work. Amazing city!! Love all the great museums and just sooooooo many things too do! Go Blackhawks!! I want to see Skydeck again! This time in the day, though it really is a beautiful view with the city all lit up "Below" you! lol
