Their first three albums (to me) were their best. Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic, kick ass too. But they had other great albums as well. From google..Yes, Aerosmith played in a barn behind a 14-unit building on Prospect Hill Road in Sunapee, New Hampshire, where the band got its start. The barn was a favorite hangout for the band members, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, who met in Sunapee while spending their childhood summers there. In their early years, Aerosmith played at many places in New Hampshire, including high school proms, the JFK Coliseum in Manchester, Holman Stadium in Nashua, and the Capitol Theater in Concord....im adding.. they also were big in Boston and through out new england.

They began in the 1970's and are still going.
Having been a teen in the 70's, I forget younger generations are unfamiliar with how "experimental" the Music was in the 70's. Basically, musicians could try anything and we were willing to listen.
In the course of a week I would hear Lawrence Welk, Mitch Miller, Sonny&Cher (pop), Hee Haw (country) and Hymn Sing (gospel) in addition to the Top 40 AND my personal music. I was not unique. This was normal for my generation, the Boomers.

Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show (also old, drug culture) "On the Cover of Rolling Stone" so many others, some of their work was written by Shel Silverstein a poet "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and I believe he was a photographer for Playboy (adult magazine).I really like watching younger reactors from outside the USA and seeing the music live on.

I was hanging out with Steven's ex-wife Cyrinda Foxe, a woman who once upon a time dated John Lennon and David Bowie, and attended Keith Moon's wedding. Sadly, Cyrinda lost a battle with brain cancer, but those summers of 1985 and 1986 were amazing.

I saw them at the Texxas Jam at the Cotton Bowl. It was 120degrees F on the stadium floor. I was 13yo. 1978. They were at their lowest point on the Bootleg album tour but what an incredible experience. It was Van Halen’s First tour and they played as well.

Sweet Emotion and Train Kept A ‘ Rollin. For starters. The catalogue is deep, deep. Fifty years and still rocking, they are. Check them out live in Rio. Tiny crowd….😂

I got to see Aerosmith in concert back in the late 80's. Steven Tyler is a one of a kind vocalist and a true showman. Walk This Way (original soundtrack from the album Toys In The Attic)…and other fan favs: Last Child, Sweet Emotion, Train Kept A Rollin, Lord Of The Thighs, Nobody’s Fault…among many. ORIGINAL STUDIO ALBUM VERSIONS ONLY (Not Live versions or remixes). Dream On (1st album) released in 1973 but didn’t start getting airplay until 1974 or 75. By then they had their fourth album out and suddenly everywhere on the radio was Dream On, Walk This Way and sweet emotion. And besides Zeppelin, which is at the top of most rock ‘n rollers bands list. It was an Aerosmith Summer. PS: Aerosmith had ‘two lives’; before the late 80s and then after their come back of the 90s. (they broke up and reunited and did a famous collaboration with run dmc ). All the hits above are from their early era.

There are so many great songs you could do from Aerosmith, that it would take you a month. This one is obviously a favorite, but I'd love it if you did Train Kept a Rollin', it's a jam!

Check out their song Nobody's Fault from the Rocks album. It's a bridge between rock and metal. Written by guitarist Brad Whitford who also plays the solo. Really a heavy Aerosmith song.

Aerosmith .. I was a Jr in high school when I first got into their music. Old Aerosmith, the classics. Good music to cruise to with the windows down. As usual, I love your reaction! Keep reacting to the old stuff, it hits right in your soul.

Hi Aerosmith are in the top 10 bands from the 70's. Here are 3 other bands that fit that category
    Lynyrd skynyrd
    The eagles
    Queen
Their are many more great bands from then but nobody beats pink floyd and led zeppelin they were the best both equal in style and quality of composition.
