Stephen Tyler wrote this when he was just a pup,16 I believe . What introspective he was born to ROCK!
Tyler actually wrote this and composed Dream On at the age of 14....what the hell have we been doing with our lives..lol.
Toys in the attic, dream on, rocks. Three albums, every song ,stellar.
Dream On isn’t an album. It’s on their self titled debut album
Oh wow far out you landed on one of my faves thank you thank you thank you awesome awesome awesome awesome thank you thank you thank you please do more❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You are so welcome
I used to tell my kids, "I once felt sorry for a man with no shoes, until I saw a man with no feet." Work hard to love what's in front of you because what's behind you is just a memory. I can tell you felt this one, Stax. You found the message!
I always heard the joke version:
Once I wept for I had no shoes.
Then I met a man with no feet.
So I took his shoes.
It's not like he was using them.
Very well said sir, thank you for your words of wisdom......
This song stands the test of time. It is so true and always relevant….🔥🔥🔥
This was a great reaction and such important things you said. Really makes me think…. On another note you yelling at the ad to shut up was such a lol moment!
Awwww thank you, and lmaoooo that was very rude for it to interrupt me while rambling
@@StaxReacts so rude, totally agree :)
Em heavily sampled this song for Sing for the moment, almost more a cover then a sample, and they did this together.

Bet
That's dope, I was just thinking how this would make a 🔥 sample! Guess I should see what Em did with it since I don't listen to him very much. 🤔🫡
@@The_True_ Give this one a try then, a other amazing song a lot of people have sampled, Eminem My name is, probably the biggest. But tons of rappers have do it, and different parts of it.
Labi Siffre - I Got The... (1975)

@@Tommysimonsen Yo, appreciate the recommendation! Listening now and it's damn smooth!
Steven Tyler is a Rock Star .Probably the most iconic screams in Rock. I don't want to miss a thing is an amazing song from them. Great reaction as usual my friend. Peace out ✌️ ☮️
💙💙🙏🙏
One of the greatest power ballads of all time
🙏🙏
Such a beautiful song! Aerosmith was my first concert. I will never forget it. I got way too drunk at 16 years old 🤣😂 It was so much fun though. Glad you enjoyed the song and got something out of it. Great reaction man!
😂😂😂🤘🏽🤘🏽
Listen bro, all millionaires today will tell you, they failed 90% and succeeded 10% in all they did, but with using the Law of Attraction and smart senses and the DRIVE to not stop trying, they ultimately won! There is wisdom there: In order to Win you have to Try. If you don't Try and fail, then dare to Try again, you NEVER will succeed!
You know the old saying: If at first you don't succeed, try try again!💯
🙏🙏🙏
I wasn't a huge Aerosmith fan but here's the songs I crank up the radio when these songs come on:
Janie's got a gun
Love in an elevator
Angel
I don't wanna miss a thing
Sweet emotion
How You Pronounce, This Band's Name: 'Air-o-Smith'...!😎👍🏻💯 I Know That's Not,.. How it is Spelled! I'm young but I Was Raised On Hippy☮️ and Classic Rock✌🏻..

You have to experience the dark to recognize the light.
SAY IT AGAIN!!!!💙🙏

Not a big Aerosmith fan, but this song is a banger!
Saw them at the Texas jam Dallas cotton bowl. 1978.
I think the lines he is referring to our cocaine lines and they are disappearing so he is clearer
You do realize this song is 51 years old. Kind of a delayed reaction.
The opening line is about coke on a mirror and his face is getting clearer as he snorts them which is why he makes the sniffing sound
Hope u dont mind me sayn u fine
Aerosmith and RUN DMC was huge for a good while, and this track would make a dope sample imo. 🔥 Reaction BIG STAX!💯
🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥🔥
Aerosmith is worth a deep dive. These are some other great songs by them - "Livin on the edge", "Dude (Looks like a lady)", "Janie's got a gun" and "Sweet Emotion"
All added to the list thank you
I hope you know the song by Eminem - Sing for the Moment. He used the sample of this beautiful song by Aerosmith. Great reaction btw
I’ll check it out, thank you
Nice reaction. We had great music to grow up with. It really made life better. Still does. Changes my mood completely in positive directions in such a stressful existence today. Rock on!
Couldn't agree more!
This song is so powerful and eerily beautiful... Masterpiece! Steven Tyler actually wrote this song as a teen, like some prophetic vision of his future! Incredible!
To be honest, I don't believe in that story, because nobody has the level of wisdom that the lyrics of this song show at 14-16!!!
Maybe he came up with the startings of the melody... maybe. If it was the lyrics, then I would say he probably used some lyrics from his father or grandfather...
🙏🙏🙏
Great Song! So many more by them… I stop listening after walk this way with Run DMC which I totally enjoyed but for me nothing good came after. My favorite album by them is Toys in the Attic
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Pink Floyd - Time
You should probably dig into Aerosmith a little deeper. Start with stuff off of toys in the attic and progress with each album just so you can appreciate the evolution of the band and their sound.
🙏🙏🙏
Yo my boy been living under a rock? About time you hear this one, young champ!
I knowwww
This is such a good song! You got the meaning after the first two lines. 👏
This is when music was art. I love Aerosmith. 💟
💙💙💙
This is why i like this channel. Because i hear songs again that i nearly forget about.
💙💙🔥🔥
Rap Rock
Linkin’ Park - in the end
Kid Rock - bawitdaba
💙💙
No regrets...
“all these lines and my face getting clearer” is a line about doing coke…..
It can be and considering their history during the 70's, it probably did.. but his take is just as valid. Looking at yourself in the mirror, coming to terms with life, age and where you're at in between those is just as valid neighbor.
Love your response, imagine this was on the radio going to school
🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic reaction Stax 🔥 to a fantastic song 🎶🎵🎶🎵🎶
💙💙💙
I love it… got to go through bad to know when it’s good!
🔥🔥🔥
a very freeing song I find it. thanks
❤️❤️❤️
Eminem sampled this
💙💙💙
Not just rock or metal any song that makes you feel
Well done, Stax.
Thank you 💙
Hi Stax
Hey sue

💙
I was almost 5 when this came out and was probably one of the songs and bands that made me the rockin' n rollin' metal head I am today.
