I probably do 90% of the cooking at home. She does help with the dishes almost every day though. Which based on what I know is already above average in terms of modern Chinese women standards.
Yeah for sure, if she reacts positively to what I have to say then I can continue, which fortunately for me, most of the time she does. But if she doesn't then i'll try again another time.
I watched a video where you said you don’t want to eat tasty food. But then in this video, you said you criticized your girlfriend for making a meal that wasn’t good. If you don’t need to eat tasty food, why would you criticize your girlfriend’s food if it’s not tasty. She wasn’t obligated to make it. You can criticize a cook at a restaurant because you are paying them to cook for you. But you are not paying your girlfriend to cook for you. You don’t have the right to criticize in that case. You can refuse to eat it, or better yet, offer to cook a meal instead. Also, if you are ok with eating non-tasty food, shouldn’t you have just been grateful for the effort your girlfriend made, and eaten the food without comment? Why do you think it’s not rude to criticize and complain about your girlfriend’s cooking when you are also saying you don’t like tasty food? It doesn’t make sense.
You are right, I will take my time and think about this. Thanks for the insight. :) In this case if I remember correctly it was that the food was too salty or oily, and if I eat that then I will not feel good afterwards. I will never complain about eating something that is just boiled and then just add some salt to it, which to some people can be seen as not tasty. Of course I want some variation every now and then.
dude you are VERY controlling, if she left plates in the sink you help her out, you need to be more helpful, I do not agree with anything you said. Sounds like YOU need to be a better person. I feel sorry for your girl, she needs a REAL man.
HOLD ON, you said she needs a real man, I’m a real man. I’m going in! But I think I'm not controlling at all really. Sure I have opinions but that doesn't mean I'm controlling. I also think I'm helpful and supportive. Of course not that supportive towards things I don't agree with which is another a lot of women in China want. But I will take your feedback into consideration.
Your last point I'm in complete agreement with.
Love it!
You're lucky that your Chinese gf even cooks for you. Mine doesn't. 😂

@NiklasHe 😂
It's not only Chinese women, there is no way you can argue logics.You just have to see what they react to and not what they say

i have learned nothing because I'm chinese myself.
