I’m talking to someone who got out of a multi year relationship. She says she mentally is not ready for a relationship but she says she has feelings for me and even says we’re dating and are exclusive to eachother. Essentially she still wants time to become mentally prepared for our lives to become intertwined which would be caused by a relationship. I'm in this situationship right now. I agree in part with what Jessica is saying....however I think as adults we need to be up front and very honest about what we are looking for and want.....I believes that type of honesty will save a lot of time and keep you from investing time in someone who really doesn't want to be there.....But we have to look at the signs and look at things for what they are and not for what we want them to be .....if a person doesn't want to be there , just go and stop trying to convince them....in some ways trying to sell yourself is SIMPISH...imo😀

Hi, so what if this girl says she likes me a lot, we have same values life goals, mind set, we are both attracted to each. We both want life long mate but she has trauma from previous past relationship, is dealing with another x who stole her money and was not looking for a relationship but let me and really liked me a lot and actually moved fast with me when she said lets go slow which I was open too.. A month in, she started pulling away. I assume it has to do with the trauma and I was learning about it for a month and when I understood why she was stonewalling / hot and cold she realized again she was not ready as she thought before meeting me.
