Your discovery of different sizes of blocks in Cream and sugar made me smile as I don’t always see the individual blocks not to mention size differences. Thanks for being a kinder quilter!❤
Loved visiting with you. I went to a retreat at Cornwagon Quilts last January and loved the shop. I love my stitching pillow made from following your video. Love your Heirloom Rose blocks. So beautiful! Hope your trip is everything you hoped it would be. 🥰
I bought the Heirloom Roses pattern after seeing your beautiful work, and then decided to do it in color versus neutrals. Love it either way. I some of my blocks cut out, but no stitching yet. One thing at a time. Enjoy your travels. It will be good to see Penny on the road again.
Hi Anna, yes, I too have a container/bag of pieces of other bindings from other quilts to use. They really come in handy when I am making my scrappy quilts. Nice job on that pillow, love it. Your wool blocks are just so beautiful!!! Your hand sewing is just so delightful to look at. Keep stitching and quilting, so FUN. Our special seasons are coming when we can sit and stitch and quilt for many many hours during the Fall & Winter. So, looking forward to the coming months!!!! I continue to love listening to all of your storing. Enjoy your upcoming camping trips. Have lots of fun with everything you do. Be blessed.....♨♨
I’ll caution you on getting sucked into floss tube. They are wonderfully addictive! I did counted cross stitch when my kids were little and now they are having their own littles. I tried to not get sucked in again because I already have to hope to live until I’m 3042 years old to get down all that is crazy currently on my quilts to make list. But I saw several Quaker cross stitch projects that screamed BUY ME. So I did. 😂. Hope you have a fabulous time camping ❤
There certainly is peace in the world when makers make, the might get a little cranky when they’re not making. 😊 Penny is going to be so beautiful when decked out in new cozy quilts and your stitched pillow. Thanks for sharing your stitching pillow, I need to make one. Have a great time traveling and camping! 🌻
I made a stitching pillow several years ago from your video and I take it with me everywhere. Neck and shoulders saver. Thank you for the great visit and enjoy camping ❤
Such a fun/great discovery you had , with something you are already enjoying & working on, Cream & Sugar will look fantastic with your colours. Also , your wool project is gorgeous. Enjoy your camping and travels!
Your BOMs are awesome!!! You have so much going on! I would love to host or go to a stitch and chat! Have a wonderful prep for your trip! That wool appliqué is gobsmacking awesome!
Hi friend!! I have not even finished the Stitch Roadie video and I'm watching this one LOL. I'm sitting here using my giant biscornu pillow I made from your tutorial. It really helps relieve any neck/back pain I have when stitching. Just love it! I'm working on a plan to try to attend the 50th anniversary SOQS next year. I'll keep you posted so we can meet up. Fingers crossed! Hugs from NE Ohio.
I just went to a Schmetz Needle seminar at MLQS today and the woman who presented showed us a sashiko quilt she had made over the years. OMG it was unbelievably gorgeous. Such precision. I was very impressed.
It is so enjoyable to watch you while I am cross stitching a "Christmas Hippo" ornament for my son. The ornament is a free pattern Jeannine McGowan of The Blue Flower and I doing it on perforated paper.
I do the same with my bindings. I have a container with them all and then I use them when I can. I also made one of your stitch pillows. I really like it too, and I made one for my daughter. She crossed stitches. I do another things. Have a great cramp camping trip.
