The hanging quilt is awesome! I need to practice hand appliqué. I love the block of month, it’s going to be beautiful! Sewing on my stack and whack quilt top …I’m slow. Yes the “quilt affair” is just so much fun!
The garden photos at the end are stunning! Beautiful garden!! I find it hard to believe that in a couple of weeks you will be at Quilters Affair!! I say time flies so often it has become trite. However, it is true!! I hate to wish away the time even more, but I'm counting those days until September when we meet again! Thank you for an abundance of inspiration in a short 32 minutes my friend! Hugs from NE Ohio.
LOL, "No one's the boss of me!" I cracked up! "I got me a chunk. I don't know for what, but I got me a chunk." LOL, that's how I get all my fabric, I don't know for what! I love you, Anna!
Dear Anna, your blocks are very pretty. I really appreciate you giving info on quilt shops. I need to go to the Cedar Ridge in Oregon City. I've been on three quilt adventures rooming with strangers. Two on a quilting cruise. We're both there to learn, sew and have fun. It worked out quite well. Especially the cruise get togethers with free champagne! Take care. Marion in Gresham.
Such a wonderful visit with you today seeing all the things you had to share. I am very much looking forward to visiting in person with you next month at one of your Sit and Stitch classes 🥰
I love the Yoko Saito quilt hanging behind you; it’s gorgeous!!! I started that pattern a number of years ago, probably pre-pandemic, and have a number of the blocks stitched using needle turn applique. I will have to dig it out and work on it. You have inspired me!!! Janice@A Positive Outlook
Love that quilt behind you done in wool!! I think it would take me the rest of my life to make but I love it and am going to look for the book. Definitely want to attempt a few squares. Don’t know how you get so much stuff done! I’m such a squirrel it’s very hard to get everything squeezed in. And now I have a new puppy!! You would love her! She’s a Bernedoodle! ❤❤❤her and all her energy!
Anna, everyone is younger than thee and me. I'd be very uncomfortable, too, sharing a room with someone I didn't know. So brave you! Hope you and Charisma have fun - as I am sure you will.
Love your visits Anna and to hear and see what you’ve been up to. The wool floral quilt is beautiful. I actually like it as is without a border at all. The border sometimes puts me at a standstill too. I tend to overthink. Recently sewed a top using a kit (three color quilt) but there wasn’t a lot of leftover fabric to work with. After thinking about it for days I decided to just do a narrow scrappy border on the sides only where the light (white) fabric is. I think it really framed the quilt. Anyway that’s my latest story on borders. Take care. See you next time.
The Yoko Saito quilt is so beautiful! The colors and fabrics are so soft and calming. The time you spent with your friends sounds perfect - talking, laughing and quilting, what could be better? I always enjoy visiting with you, thank you for sharing your time. ♥️
Hi we had are quilt show last Friday 130 +quilts 3 vendors got a lot of panels to make quilts free tables got bags of material books love ❤️ the quilt behind you from Indiana
The quilt behind you is so lovely! I can’t wait to see it finished. I really like what you’re doing with the cream and sugar quilt as well. I’m so happy you were able to get together with the girls, although we sure miss them on this side of the mountain when they’re gone. It was pretty quiet at stitch group this week!
On your first cream and sugar star block it looked like two corners needed to be rotated? Love the quilt behind you, and like the idea of a "simpler border".
Always inspiring Anna! Thanks for the crafting and philosophy as you chat, your attitude has helped me for a few years now. Making the life you love seems to help me do the same. Grateful for you.
You are very uplifting to watch. I love all the crafts you do. I cross stitch and sew. We are the same "young" age. You are also a pretty lady....keep that pretty smile...signed Kathy the dog lover
The Yoko Saito quilt behind you is gorgeous. I Love it just like it is. I'm not sure I would add any borders. I do like your idea of a plain border with the white scallops.
Thank you, wonderful Anna, for another soooo special video. Thank you for mentioning our light table…lol the transcript spells it miso. I am also a fan of Yoko Saito and LOVE the white trim border you are fond of. I would love to see it when you finish it. Love your “Spargo Up” wording lol. You always make me smile 🥰💕
Always fun to see what you're working on...OR...hoping to work on! I am trying to keep on track with #crossstitchcamp2024 this summer and spend more time in my garden. XO
You are so inspiring Anna I’ll look forward to both your quilt roadie and stitch. Roadie shows on TH-cam. I love that fabric you bought and that you are keeping up with the BOM. I love my Yazzie bag since I filled it. Last time I mentioned it to you I had not failed it so feeling sad. I went and filled it and made me feel happy there was only a couple things that didn’t fit and I could easily find a home for them somewhere else in the fold out zipper compartments… I would love to decorate it also!!! I have black good quality wool from a coat and loads of pearl cotton and dmc gloss
I had to come over here and check out your channel because I had heard from some of my people that you had shared that I was your roomie. haha! I am super nervous about that whole situation too. SO I will just apologize in advance if I talk in my sleep or snore...both are known issues with me. I will also try to be super quiet because I have a difficult time sleeping through the night...but I am going to try very hard to be a good roomie. :) I am packing headphones and ipads etc so I can stay entertained quietly through the night if I need. But I will be super glad to meet you in person because everyone says how great you are and that I am so blessed/lucky to be rooming with you. I think that will make my first year at QA pretty awesome! So no pressure!! :) see you in a few sleeps.
I think the quilt will be beautiful without a fussy border, that way the individual blocks will shine and so will your work. I understand being aqanxious about who your roommate would be, from what I have seen on her IG and TH-cam Charisma is as downt to earth as you are…just ask her about her pink barn studio.
Wow, Anna, sounds like you had a fantastic time , creating memories with your friends! Both of your quilts look amazing,as works in progress, they will be beautiful when finished. Good to see that Enzo is just hanging out.
Hi! Morning well its morning here in South Africa. You are such an inspiration to me! Love the pin cushion quilt also the beauty behind you! My oldest grandson is getting married November. Gosh time flies. Seems a nice sunny winter day here so we are outside because our nest is cold in winter. Our summers are hot so houses are built to keep cool and summer is longer here. Winters are short. Have a great blessed creative week!
Hi Anna, great minds think alike 😊 . I’ve been making loads of project bags to organise my whips both for cross stitching and my quilting whips. So I just grab and go. Each week I dedicate a day where a just grab a bag and stitch whatever is in it. Xxx
Hi Anna, I so enjoy your videos! I love seeing what you're working on. And I love hearing your thoughts on everything! But check closely the first Cream and Sugar block you held up, the corners don't match. The 2 corners on the left have the white squares towards the center, the 2 corners on the right have the half-square-triangles to the center. Easy to make that mistake, I've done it before! 🤔😊
Oh my!! Your blocks of the month are stunning. Can’t wait to see it together. Were those fabrics your choice or were they called for fabrics. So sorry I missed that QAL. You are the best!!
Anna I think the first block you showed us had a turned block in from the strawberries and cream book. The very first block you showed us?? But you put it down fast so maybe I am wrong.😢
Great video have a great weekend and happy stitching 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you! You too!
Anna, I love spending time with you. You are a real motivator😊
Oh my heavens that quilt behind you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I cannot wait!!
I love the quilt behind you too! It's great & yes, I would hang it in a prominate spot in the house too. Beautiful!
LOL, "No one's the boss of me!" I cracked up! "I got me a chunk. I don't know for what, but I got me a chunk." LOL, that's how I get all my fabric, I don't know for what! I love you, Anna!
😁
Anna totally agree if we assign a day of the week to a project type we can more our projects forward.
Love the music at the end. Nice piece.
Thanks for listening❤️
Thanks for a great video. Got a good laugh when you said G stands in the door way of the bee hive😂.

Oh, no dog earing the books. My momma always said books are our friends 🧡 😂. Sharing a room with a stranger would stress me to the max.

I love everything Charisma Horton does! She is amazing. She has chickens and I think y’all will have so much fun. You are both very fortunate!
The pieces on the wall behind you are so pretty!
Reading is wonderful for winter months, not as much for spring and summer when it’s all about gardens.😅 . Love this great visit and all you do. ❤
Rob Appel has worked with Charisma Horton. She’ll love rooming with you!❤️
I love your pink poodle hexies! So cute!

I'll check it out!😂👍
On your first cream and sugar star block it looked like two corners needed to be rotated? Or..maybe that’s just the pattern.
I think you are right
Me, too. But it’s an easy fix.
I think so too
Oh my!! Your blocks of the month are stunning. Can’t wait to see it together. Were those fabrics your choice or were they called for fabrics. So sorry I missed that QAL. You are the best!!
They are my choice…we will see if works🙏❤️
Absolutely love the quilt on your wall! Is the pattern still a available?
Anna I think the first block you showed us had a turned block in from the strawberries and cream book. The very first block you showed us?? But you put it down fast so maybe I am wrong.😢
Corner blocks on one side are not the same as the other side
Yep😬😂
Now I have a question. HOW do you get so much done? I’m retired and I just can’t seem to get a lot done when it comes to quilting. 😤
Scrap apple Quilts
I don't like to share a room either that's a no for me....
