Hi I sit here and tried this stich and it took a few tries but I want to thank you I really like it a lot.
I have knitted since you I was a preteen and I also crochet.
It's a fun pass time and I so enjoy it.
I'll be 71 next week and I want to thank you for your time showing this stich I'll get some variegated yarn to make a blanket.
Thank you I so much appreciate your effort teaching it.

It may take a bit of time as I have to finish what I’m working on first, but rest assured I will eventually send the photo, and watch you site for new, never before seen stitches. This has a good sideways stretch. Id use it for the tops of socks using a stretchy cast on , or for wrist warmers. A summer spagetti top would also be nice (japanese short rows can be used with this stitch). It opens into a net like fabric so it wouldnt be good for rugs . Its also a time consuming stitch , as each row is worked twice, so I really cant imagine using it for a large project. If finishing with a seed stitch then either make increases after every third stitch or double the thread ;and use smaller needles in both cases as the twisted stitch is very dense and the seed stitch would otherwise be very loose and open.

I love this stitch. Trying to learn lots of new ones. I'm working on a sampler scarf thing where I add a section in every stitch I know how to do. Currently adding this one.
