Five years on - rugby player who made fastest recovery from horror knee injury

Five years ago rugby player Nik Binning suffered a devastating and possibly career-ending knee injury. He dislocated it, rupturing all of the ligaments except for his PCL. He underwent a fairly new procedure back then - Multi-Ligament InternalBrace Repair with The Mackay Clinic.
Not only did Nik go on to make the fastest ever recorded recovery from such an injury, five years later we caught up with him to find he is still playing at a high level for Stirling County Wolves with a pain-free knee.
Nik said: 'My knee is fantastic, I could have stayed with rugby but a few years ago I chose to concentrate on Martial Arts. I then returned to rugby three years ago and have been playing at a high level with no concerns about my knee.
