  • Hello everyone! My name is Courtney and I am a first year physician assistant student! I made my Instagram (@myway_topa) and this TH-cam channel to help all of the pre-PAs out there and to document my journey through PA school.
In this video I am showing you a week in my life during my 3rd semester of PA school! In this video I take an emergency medicine exam, get my first covid vaccine, practice measuring blood glucose, and more!
If there are any specific videos you would like to see from me, let me know in the comments below!
If you have any questions or need PA related advice reach out to me on my Instagram! @myway_topa

That's so funny that you guys are so delicate with the fingersticks! I'm doing a lot of EMT and ER tech procedures like fingersticks and straight sticks for my pre-PA PCE hours. What do most of your classmates have for experience?

Hahaha those lancets in the video were so odd because the needle was just out without pressing down! I did phlebotomy for PCE and when I did finger sticks for that job you had to press hard so I was definitely a little more aggressive with it then! LOL
But we are all over the place with our PCE! I’d say some of the most common were scribes, MA, CNA, phlebotomy, EMT etc! But there are a few random other ones thrown in there for sure!
EMT and ER tech sounds like AMAZING experience!!

That’s okay either way it’ll be great!! We still have a while until then so it makes sense that they haven’t updated you yet! With vaccines now too I’m sure there is a big chance you’ll be in person☺️
