Hello everyone! My name is Courtney and I am a second year physician assistant student! I made my Instagram (@myway_topa) and this TH-cam channel to help all of the pre-PAs out there and to document my journey through PA school.

I feel like I’m sooo afraid of surgery 😂 I would be so scared to make a mistake or faint. But I gotta make it through 2 more semesters of didactic first 😂 great video!

Also silly question, but I know you said you can wear glasses on clinicals/surgery, but is that preferred? I’m considering getting contacts again but weren’t sure what you or your classmates prefer!😊

You will do great!! I was soooo terrified for my surgery rotation and it went way better than I expected! And personally I prefer contacts just in general for every day life but my preceptor preferred glasses so you don’t forget to put on your eye covers! It may depend on where your rotation is, they could potentially make you wear more specific eye protection rather than just glasses!

This is such a good video. I’m planning on PA school after undergrad. And I’ve been looking for a good vlogging channel. Most have been people talking about their day involving working out and what they eat, so I’m glad I found this channel. Thank you for the vids!

Omg they gave u surgery as ur first rotation? Lol.. how’d that go? We had someone in my class quit PA school cuz he had surgery as first and he was so stressed out he had a mental breakdown and ended up leaving the course
