Saki's great tone inspired me to check out Killer guitars. Ended up buying one and it's my go-to for really heavy stuff (see profile pic...). She's a fantastic player, and I just had a chance to see her live for the second time, at the Whisky a Go Go gig. First time was a prog instrumental show at Silver Elephant in Tokyo back in 2018. She's super-versatile.

Saki my ultimate favourite. This is a cut down version of what was on Herman's twitch. It was about 1.5 hours long and about 20 minutes worth of shredding. Saki was on fire. Kudos to Herman for keeping up with her. I an sure his jaw dropped in awe at her speed and riffs she was playing.
Thomas the Tank Engine is what she wanted to say at 5:30 or so. She says "kikansha tomasu," which is the Japanese name for Thomas the Tank Engine (the Japanese translates to Locomotive Thomas).

Saki is a Quiet and un assuming Bad Ass. She lets her music do the talking and its Awesome. No surprise Akira is one of her mentor. After All Loudness started this Japanese Metal Madness that has grown into the Shock and Awe we enjoy today.

I've been in a Nemophila rabbit hole and happily got lost in their great live/rehearsal videos. These ladies are so talented with their original and covers. They even made me love a Nickelback song. Nickelback!!! They also have so much fun playing it becomes infectious and just lifts you up. Obviously from this video you can see how talented she is. Saki and Yuki (from D_Drive) are probably my favorite out of that scene right now. They have phenomenal skill and emotion in their playing.
She is so great and so talented and Hermann is a legend and she will be too very soon I feel. I hope one day soon my band can open up for them, it would be an honour.

discovered seikima-II when I repaired a car stereo from Japan that had the End of The Century CD stuck in it, awesome band, I was so lucky, still feel sorry for the japanese customer that lost their CD, but they should have spilled their latte on it before inserting it to the CD player!
This was a very poignant interview with Saki. I have been enjoying Nemophila for quite some time. I absolutely love their cover videos. These girls have so much fun arranging the songs, and the videos are so enjoyable and funny too. Her guitar work is very relaxed, and expressive with speed, and a good sense of resolve. Her tone is outstanding as well. I think to be invited as an endorsee for Killer guitars is very impressive. All the members of Nemophila are amazingly talented musicians. I have worked for meny female musicians during the eighties and I am very moved when I see women become outstanding players and composers.
I was at that show in Hong Kong and a few years ago while on a trip to Japan, I managed to see Mary's Blood live in Yokohama. Great shows. Would love to get a Killer guitar some time in the future.

You're in for a big treat if you've never heard Nemophila or Mary's Blood. Nemophila's first live Blu-ray is a great showcase for Saki's abilities as well as the rest of the band.
