    You inspire so much!☺ when you mention displaying beautiful fabric I thought of my mamas tablecloths that are so pretty but I to store. Most are not usable so cutting them is not an issue. ( plus I get more storage space). The scraps can go in my quilt bin since I'm trying that too. I found (rescued) my grandmas quilts and found hand embroidered state flowers she made that are so old there are only 48 blocks. She did the same with birds. They're stitched on old feed sacks. My 94 year old mom, who has more energy than me I promise, has been great help. I hope you and the other people will forgive my long comment. 😞 I really wanted to ask, since you teach us so darn amazing, any tips for sewing......circles?

      Widgets. What are you trying to make out of circles. My mom and great grandmother also hand embroidered birds and stitch it into a quilt. Watch this video. I displayed this quilt in one of my past videos. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

    What kind of batting do you use for the table runner?
    Can you use unbleached muslin for your backing?

    what is the yardage needed for the binding?

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tommy. For a 72" table runner I used a little more than 4 strips which equals about 1/4 yard. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

    I wanted to take a picture of your information but when I
    I freeze the videos all I get is the arrow over some of the info. Help me please. I ha e had strokes and with my phone I can take it to the store and pick up what I need. Then. I tell my phone to tell me how to get home from where I'm at.
    God bless.

      Hi Karen. I want to help but I don't understand what you mean by an arrow over some of the information. Are you trying to write down the amount of different fabrics needed? If so here are the quantities I used:
      Fabric A = 1/2 yard
      Fabric B = 1/2 yard
      Fabric for the back = 7/8 yard
      Cotton batting: cut it 14" wide by your desired length
      I hope this helps Karen. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

    Hi Sherrill ... why did you cut the fabric at 12 .5 inches at the beginning... I am kind of stumped thanks shukila

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Shukila. The extra half inch is covered by the binding on each side. You can cut the strips 12" or any width that you like. I sometimes make them very narrow or extra extra wide. I am a quilter and we are always adding a half inch that is used in a the seam. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Suzy. 1/2 yard should be plenty it you make the table runner 72" long. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

      Hi Jonna. At this time, I do not have a website where you can get written instructions. But many viewers sew along with the video tutorial. They really enjoy doing it that way. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Liette. I purchased the orange/rust fabric from Joanns Fabrics and Crafts (joann.com). The large print was fabric that I have had for several years, and I'm sorry to say I don't remember where I purchased it. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
