From 1976 to this day ELO (Jeff Lynne) has been the best live band i have ever seen and i have seen lots and lots of concerts from legendary bands. I saw ELO in 1976, 1978, 1981, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. I feel very fortunate. I will see them again in 2024.

So great to see my generation having a blast at a concert. Brings back all kinds of feelings. I'm 73 and I was a single mom raising kids in the 70's. No time for concerts but the music was always part of my life. I was blessed to grow up with the 50's 60's and 70's music. Nothing comes close to it now.
String section is magical.. no pyrotechnics just amazing musicians.. incredible
I love the crowd. I'm 61, and those are the heads of my generation: bald men, salt-and- pepper women, faces with some lines from decades of loving and living, and playful eyes full of wisdom. Everyone is present, bodies moving to the music, making good memories, but capturing them in their heart, not recording them on a cell phone. 😊

I attended their concert in S.F recently and recorded most of one song and can tell you that I am able to enjoy that bit over and over. So it's either enjoy it once or continue to enjoy it for years, which I prefer.
Before this comeback, he didn't believe anyone would be interested in coming out to support his music.

It's just mind-blowing that Jeff Lynne has that spread of musicians and moving parts, technically speaking, and him and his band STILL sound IDENTICAL to the album recordings, if not even better; not to mention mixing the live audio in Wembley and adding the visual aspect to boot! Musical mastery and professionalism at the absolute highest level, to say the least! Incredible!

The greatest guitarist n musician ever. He made the guitar do things that others had never dreamed of . To perform so brilliantly in his 70’s is a testament to his never ending ways of achieving perfection n giving us such a great cross of so many musical instruments from vocals to drums, base n guitars, piano, organs. Cello’s, violins … WOW… I bought one of their albums ( discover I think ) n never dreamed I’d be so hooked 50yrs later. Heading towards 70 but his music makes me feel in my 20’s!

Saw this band in concert February 6, 1976 at Lane County Fair Grounds, Eugene, OR. Great concert, these guys rocked the house and the lazer show was tops. Met my future wife April 2nd 1976 and this was the first song we danced to together. ELO has been a big part of my life for over 46 years. Keep Rockin!
