Who's watching in 2024? Not about war, religion or politics, just beautiful. We need more like this nowadays.
Masz rację. Kocham ten zespół mojej młodości. Powoduje, że chce się żyć❤😢😊
We are! Love, love, love Jeff Lynne & ELO… so excited to see them all in Denver later this year! 🎉
I am. And thankyou!
Too right, man.
More beauty needed, less ugliness.
Perfectly said!!🙏
The lad from Birmingham, United Kingdom. still touching our hearts after all these years. God we had the best music back then.
I read many great musicians come from this region !
Grandfather was from Birmingham, I’m living in the US NOW STILL LOVE ENGLAND!
One of the great underrated bands of all time. Lynne looks like he teleported from somewhere in 1977 and just appeared backstage, 15 minutes before the show...
One of the most sincere and inspiered love songs, you can feel the pain in his passion...❤
I'm listening in 2024 to 📞 Line. 69 years old from Michigan. Jeff is amazing at his age. He keeps on making incredible music. Can make us smile. Can make us cry. Love ELO
Here at 70 yrs, wish I had a telephone line 🙂
You're so right
This is magical. Great to see the audience reliving their youth. 😊
Same age in Adelaide South Australia .. followed them most of my life ...legends all !
Hello Kevin, i am 59 years old from Germany near Munich and you are so right. I believe i was 12 or 13 years old when i heard for the first time ` Telephone Line `. This magical and wonderful music accompanied me throughout life until today. I believe Jeff is a really great person too - he has definitely George Harrison, Tom, Roy and Bob their best time of life bestowed. I never saw their faces so happy like in time with `The Traveling Wilburys `- he is beyond great.
Kevin i wish you a good time.
Kind regards, Roland
Still listening to ELO in 2024. Timeless music never dies.
Over and Out Tour.. ELO.. 2024. Not to be missed..

No happiness today in our world…😔
Rejoice in others. Do good... Good will happen. has 69 cracked it?
Nope.
I’m 28 and absolutely love this song and band! Great music never dies! GOD bless
They were better times, that's very sure.

The music was so great then.😢
Electricity, light, Orchestras, Jeff Lynne, the reason why our planet is beautiful
Most criminally under rated songwriter, artist , producer to ever walk the earth
Yup, great engineer too, he produced a Beatles album at Abbey Road studios.
JEFF LYNNE IS A MUSICAL GENIUS❤❤❤❤
@@jeffweiser7071 they're legends
Most gifted and spiritually grounded..
Pure class of the highest order.
“Jeff Lynne” had his own style, his own unique voice, and ability to capture the masses of people attention. Can’t really describe it any other way.
Has.
The most beautiful music melody ever . Good memories El Salvador 🇸🇻
Grew up with all this I'm 72 and still listening to all the songs from my day's
I've just realized this is not a song. It is just pure, raw emotion. Absolutely beautiful. Just look at the couples in the audience. Tells you everything.
So true 💯
Such raw emotion and love. Wish I would've been there.
I’m 81 still listening‼️😮🥀🎶💋👏👏👏
Hard to explain to people the worry involved in making that call, when as a lovestruck teenager, any member of the girls family might pick up, and you might be grilled/20 questions, who do you want? Why? Who are you? Etc etc only to be told she wasn't at home! While all the time members of your own family were listening, because you only had one phone in the house!
Let it ring.
Is it ok for a 67 year old man to cry listening to this gorgeous song? Thank you E.L.O. You were there in my youth and still there in my old age.
Pure youth sentiment. Cry when ever you want, I know the feeling.
My dad's 70. I'm 36. He used to love ELO from the 70s to 90s and beyond and I always remember him playing it in the car when we were going places. I used to like it but was too 'cool' that I didn't want to admit it.
Listening to this now does bring tears to my eyes as I remember special times with him and now that I'm older I listen to the words and start to wonder what I'm going to do one day when he doesn't answer the phone any more. He's always been a simple man but a good man with a lot of life experience that I ask for today.
Jeff himself is 70 at the time, just so you know.
65 here and tears are streaming down my cheeks

Listening. Even Shazzamed it so I have it on playlist! Takes me back!
I just turned 70 on Friday and most of the music I listen to is from the 80's and 90's. Music today just doesn't compare. They had bands back then. There are no bands today, only sound mixers.
Just love it
Can i have a show of hands if you're still listening to this in 2020

Just try PINK FLOYD HIGH HOPES Performance in Royal Albert Hall! it is really as good as this, but a different style.
Every person in that audience was singing their heart out, with a big smile on their face. That's what good music does to you.
Oh yes that’s what good music should make you feel x
Wonderful shots of the audience singin, i agree
Real music with real superstars

And that live strings rise to the first chorus ... a beautiful piece of music drawing us to a new place.
This song is forever timeless! I'm 63yo. Been listening for nearly 50 years. ELO will be here another 50 years because very, very few bands can make music like this anymore.❤
RIP Richard Tandy . Genius keyboard player . 💔❤️🙏 😢
At 64 year old I never realized nor appreciated the impact bands such as ELO, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk Railroad, Queen and the list could go on and on, had on me and so many other people.
You don't recognize nor understand at the time but now in the twilight years I am certainly blessed to have been a part of it.. Thank you!!
b glad u lived though it / but regret being old
Absolutely agree with you ❤
Growing old is an accomplishment to revel in and be grateful for.
What a joy it was as a kid in the 80's to discover my mom and dad's vinyl collection. The Beatles have been my favorite band since the moment I put Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band on the record player (dad's favorite bands are Jethro Tull, Zeppelin, Queen, and Uriah Heap and mom loves Heart, Queen, Fleetwood Mac, and David Bowie). I somehow missed ELO.......just discovered them recently. What a treat it is to find a new band that has great song after great song after great song!
Sounds like ya definitely know all great music they'd produced in those days and bet ya could tell on yourself
I grew up with ELO as a kid in the 1970’s, and all their songs were great, what a fantastic group.
It's the 70s in a song
AMEN Master Yoda!
me too , man this song instantly took me back to childhood
ELO Electric Light Orcestra! Jeff Lynne has come a longg way since then!
Cheers!
It is a good thing that we have the music from that era. I don’t think they make music in this century.
So sad that this generation don’t have this level of music. Us from the 60s and 70s were so damn blessed to have this level of great music
It doesn't surprise me that while this was posted 5 years ago, there are still comments added only days ago. This production is pure magic and so well done I wish I could have been there for it.
I just can’t imagine my life without this kind of music

I remember when this song came out….the music from the 70’s was magical and never to be repeated.
Some of us always float into dreamland with ELO - Their sound was so amazingly layered and pure! I think that lifted that magical sound up and beyond their contemporaries.

I guess I must be as old as your dad... but my dad loved them too and bought their records (vinyl) that we played often... along with many other great bands at the time. My oldest is 25 and there is no way she'd appreciate this. So, good for you to recognise great music.
Same as that brother father showed me proper music

It amazes me how good this band is many years later. Jeff Lynne doesn't seem to age.

ELO music will never die.
His music lifts us up from the darkness that surrounds us...he shares a very special gift with us all. We are very lucky.

Jeff Lynn is a genius, no more, no less. ❤
E.L.O is such an incredible band. Back in the 70's and 80's their music was played on the radio continuously. Today, you very rarely ever hear any of those wonderful old songs played at all. It's a real shame too cause the younger generation is truly missing out on hearing some of the best music ever recorded. Let us hope by some miracle that they can start recording again and get another hit song out there in music land. Sincerely doubt that will ever happen, but we can still dream about it nonetheless!

Lynne was a genius for sure, I remember buying this album when I was 12 years old, my money.
TBH The world has always been an unrelenting and strenuous place.. yes the music was nicer back then, but social media has exposed today’s world ubiquitously, and for all that it is or isn’t..
This kind of music puts today's music to shame. Thanks God I was part of the generation when Rock was KING
