This is real music, Jeff is a normal guy and he probably doesn't know how good he really is, never big headed , he's never changed his accent in interviews, no fancy clothes on stage nothing just simple music brilliance, every single person is playing for real always. Top band and wrote songs that will be still played a hundred years from now because they are brilliant. Simple as that........
No, he’s not a «normal» guy. He’s way off any norm, having created music enjoyed by the millions, to be heard, to be sung. For decades, for milleniums. Normal guys don’t do that; geniuses do.
I'm guessing he has an idea how good he is...he hears other people, and then himself. He also has a net worth of $100M as a singer. He's great no doubt but he is well aware. If he didn't know, he would be clueless, and he's definitely not clueless.

Today's "musicians" could learn a thing or two from the greats like Jeff Lynne! No comparison between ELO and today's music. So glad I grew up when I did with really good music and artists back in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
E.L.O. is my all-time favorite band and I was at this concert. I never had a chance to see them when they toured (last time was 1981) in the states (was only 15). I thought I would never see them in concert. When I found out about this being their last date in the U.S., I HAD TO GO AT ALL COST. It was very exciting and very emotional for me, a dream come true. It was so impressive that my wife and I flew to England to see them in Birmingham, a couple of months later, back-to-back nights with 5th row seats. The first night I sat next to a friend of the drummer, awesome. They toured the States in 2019 and I saw them in Chicago (3rd row center) and Pittsburgh. All of the shows were fantastic, and I would love to go back to England again and see them perform, or anywhere, for that matter.
The stories of he and Ton Petty as well as Mike Campbell burying themselves in music production are legend. Brilliant arranger, producer, song writer and singer. Sir Jeff is a damn oversight.
I was at that Philly Show what an amazing performance! Took my Brother with me and sadly that was the last quality time we spent together Jeff and his mates but such a smile on my Brother's face I'll never forget that night Thank you Jeff Lynne!
Going to his Philly concert in September, taking 2 of my boys who listen to his music all the time, he’s one of the greats n have been listening since 76 n will finally get to see him live!
My daughter is 19 and her biggest regret is missing out on the 70’s music era. No kidding, 80’s too lol. She just says they don’t make music like that anymore. You used to need talent, you had to actually sound good to make it, now they can make anyone sound decent all you need is the look they want.
There’s that word again lol. With respect, ELO and Jeff are not underrated. Not at all. Superstars of the highest order. Not only still on tour, but Jeff has produced some of the most important artists ever (including Beatles, Dylan, Petty, etc), his music has been in films, is name checked by so many and is also in the Rock HOF. Def not underrated
I'm 59 going on 16 grew up listening to this real music that took you to imaginative places where everything was blissful ,so with all the crap that's going on today its good to escape for a while and go back to better days
With all that makeup. She's wearing a jumpsuit because it hides her belly. You can see it bulge through from time to time. Show me a woman without makeup that looks good and I'll show you a man without clown makeup that is good looking too. 😁
Thank you all so much for the music. Even my mom liked it a lot. And she was only 60 years old at that time. She asked me to play the new records, after I bought them. Thank you so much.
I took my daughter to the Arena when Jeff came back home to Birmingham in October 18. We stood 10 feet from him and danced all night. As fellow Brummies it was good to have him home where it all started. I've seen all the lineups live since the 70s and Jeff has kept the magic going. I'm proud to say that ELO have been the soundtrack of my life and when the time comes, I'll probably go out on "one summer dream", why not.
Just saw them in Toronto on their Over And Out tour of North America. I’ve been a fan since he started off as ELO with Roy Wood in 1971. Will never see the likes again. Why this man doesn’t get Knighted I’ll never know. Legend.
As a 15-year-old I had thedouble album listen to it religiously, 45 years later appreciate the arrangements and it never ceases to amaze me the talent of all these muscians

My wife and I took a train from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia to see this show last year. Simply put; the show was FANTASTIC...!!! And we just saw ELO's final 2019 show a few days ago in our home town, Pittsburgh.. It too was SPECTACULAR...... Hopefully Mr. Lynne decides to keep this music train on the tracks for a few more years................. Thank you for sharing this.......
Just saw Jeff Lynne’s ELO in Cincinnati several weeks ago. We had an amazing time. The band was great. When the band was introduced and they got to Jeff, I heard the longest, loudest, standing ovation for any musician I’ve ever heard. Mid seventies and he sounded great. If anyone has an opportunity to see this final tour please do it. One of the best of all times! Strange Magic in the arena that night. Unbelievable.
My 14yo son has discovered ELO's Mr Blue Sky the other day...I was thrilled! He asked me if I knew the song??? Lol..."Oh Son, let me show u their playlist & how far ahead of their time this music Still is today!"
My granddaughter was singing to this one day as I was driving and I was surprised to hear her singing this song and she is only 11yrs old, my it will rub off on her and she is into 70s music, must be in the genes
I am 61 and listen to ELO on my way to work. Their music is inspiring, refreshing and comforting. Most of the "metal bands" I listened to in my 20's ... Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, have sadly expired, burnt out or seem a shell of their former selves. Jeff Lynn and ELO look and sound great and are refreshing as ever! Keep the dreams going ELO!!

Jeff is a genius. His songs are great. And that girl playing the violin.........She's drop dead Gorgeous! and talented!
E.L.O. is my all-time favorite band and I was at this concert.
It's a Livin Legend singing this song !!... long live Jeff Lynne !!!!
Rosey Langley is very talented as well as beautiful. My fav violin player with Elo
My wife and I were there! Best concert I've seen in 40 years...
Jeff Nardo was there with my two sons. Might have seen you but can't be sure since I don't know what you look like 😀. Agree with you, Great show!
The stories of he and Ton Petty as well as Mike Campbell burying themselves in music production are legend. Brilliant arranger, producer, song writer and singer. Sir Jeff is a damn oversight.
I was at that Philly Show what an amazing performance! Took my Brother with me and sadly that was the last quality time we spent together Jeff and his mates but such a smile on my Brother's face I'll never forget that night
Thank you Jeff Lynne!
Going to his Philly concert in September, taking 2 of my boys who listen to his music all the time, he’s one of the greats n have been listening since 76 n will finally get to see him live!
My all time favorite. Love everything about ELO. Langley sisters, all of them. Thanks Jeff. I am 75 so it’s been a long love affair!!😀👍👍
Now listen kids, this is real music!
👏👏👏👏👏👏
My daughter is 19 and her biggest regret is missing out on the 70’s music era. No kidding, 80’s too lol. She just says they don’t make music like that anymore. You used to need talent, you had to actually sound good to make it, now they can make anyone sound decent all you need is the look they want.
@@caridennis3171 I don't doubt it. Ask yourself, when did you hear something in the last 20 years which was nice.
Yeah
Jeff Lynne is just a master of musical arrangement. ELO a highly underrated band with a distinctive sound.
Hell yeah he is!
I also love Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys!
We are so blessed to have had such an amazing time of artistic songs!
Hardly fucking underrated 😂
He produced a Beatles album for Gods sake😂🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
@@paulgabolinscy2502 can you read? My underrated comment was about ELO not Jeff.
John Lennon said that had The Beatles of stayed together they would of sounded like ELO.
Jeff Lynne. You are the Man. I'm 78 and still listening.
Beautiful! The first time I heard Livin Thing was in the fall of 1976. It played on the diner's jukebox. I loved it then and more so today.
I'm 59 going on 16 grew up listening to this real music that took you to imaginative places where everything was blissful ,so with all the crap that's going on today its good to escape for a while and go back to better days
Absolutely beautiful violin playing! Love her, and of course Jeff Lynne and the band! ❤️💙
It’s great to see the world reconnect with Jeff Lynne and ELO these past few years. He is a pure musical genius and seems like a genuinely nice guy.
Love this song
1978 and I saw them on my 15th birthday. It was my first concert on my own. Great show.
ELO brings back some memories. This violinist is right on time and very good at what she does.
Rosie Langley, is just unbelievably beautiful!! And, she is a great violinist!!👍❤👍❤👍❤👍❤
With all that makeup. She's wearing a jumpsuit because it hides her belly. You can see it bulge through from time to time. Show me a woman without makeup that looks good and I'll show you a man without clown makeup that is good looking too. 😁
Wow.
Violence is pure honey
Jeff's a great guy. He never let fame go to his head. A real "down to Earth" person!
Very talented and humble ❤
Thank you all so much for the music. Even my mom liked it a lot. And she was only 60 years old at that time. She asked me to play the new records, after I bought them. Thank you so much.
GREAT SONG, BEAUTIFUL VIOLIN AND A TERRIFIC VOICE. Victor from Australia
Hello 👋 Andy. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I Mark Clifford am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Jeff Lynn und ELO ist absolut super. Ich bin schon seit vielen Jahren grosser Fan.Für mich einer der Größten und Besten!! Supergeile Musik
Jeff's talent for songwriting and musical creation is incomparable. My favorite band by far. Long live ELO!!!
the best
I’m going to see them on September 18th! A dream come true❤
Just saw them in Toronto on their Over And Out tour of North America. I’ve been a fan since he started off as ELO with Roy Wood in 1971. Will never see the likes again. Why this man doesn’t get Knighted I’ll never know. Legend.
This song makes my eyes watery. Don't know why. I love ELO and their songs.
as I was listening, I said to myself "My summers, my early summers...", that's what this music is to me, great memories.
Murat Caner Yarımçam same.
the same for me
Murat you speak the truth!!! I get teary eyed at this too.....and Mr Blue Sky......and Sweet Talkin Woman.....and Evil woman....oh hell all ELO!!!
Me too
As a 15-year-old I had thedouble album listen to it religiously, 45 years later appreciate the arrangements and it never ceases to amaze me the talent of all these muscians
What a great talent up there on that stage together! The band are magic together and all the Females are so stunning and talented plus they actually look as though they enjoy creating that fabulous sound under the Master himself Mr Jeff Lynne!
Pure Excellence..well done to all.
But they never offered to die on a cross to save the world from their sins. We all deserve hell and then the lake of fire on judgement day.
Magic. This is why today’s media and film pull from ELO’s library of amazing music. Today’s cuts don’t even compare.
100%
👍👍👍 loooove ELO and Jeff Lynne .... simply BRILLIANT! I wish I had a Birmingham accent 😩 unfortunately I have dastardly Aussie accent and a little younger but have got to know their music more and absolutely love them .... oh god how I’d love to see them live! 👍🤩🥰🥰🥰💕💕💋💋💋💋for Jeff
Hello 👋 Helen. How are you doing? Hope you are fine. I Mark Clifford am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl
Come on everyone 2024 who's with me
I am here.
Love ELO music
Just seen him in Chicago. Great show as usual.
Oh , 😢
Meee😂😂😂
My wife and I took a train from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia to see this show last year. Simply put; the show was FANTASTIC...!!! And we just saw ELO's final 2019 show a few days ago in our home town, Pittsburgh.. It too was SPECTACULAR...... Hopefully Mr. Lynne decides to keep this music train on the tracks for a few more years................. Thank you for sharing this.......
The song is already great as it is, the violin is the cherry on top. She plays beautiful, very well done.
I saw ELO at the Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis, 1978. Best concert of my life and I've been to many, many , many concerts.
Unbelievable.
love this song and the lady on violin is awesome!
She’s adorable
The lovely Rosie Langley.
shout out to people who learn stringed instruments; the love you give to your instrument shines through in the joy to give to others.
My 14yo son has discovered ELO's Mr Blue Sky the other day...I was thrilled! He asked me if I knew the song??? Lol..."Oh Son, let me show u their playlist & how far ahead of their time this music Still is today!"
That feeling when your children discover our music.....nothing better. We were so lucky.
nice experience to share with your son. Same for me as well with my 3. They're in their 30's now.
My granddaughter was singing to this one day as I was driving and I was surprised to hear her singing this song and she is only 11yrs old, my it will rub off on her and she is into 70s music, must be in the genes
My Girl put a tape in the car and said she just found it, it was Buddy Holly and she was so surprised that her dad knew all the words HA HA HA
Everything Mike touches is gold...long time fan...great stuff
The mid 70's were my high school years.I loved ELO then and I love them now!! I listen to them all the time!
