    Hi thanks for sharing. My company is purchasing 5 of the UC MX50-T. Your video was very helpful and informative. Have you integrated any one of these with regular phone dialing (VoIP) Thanks again

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a dial pad built into the UI. Once it is installed you can remove whatever conference phone that is currently in your room and dial out directly from the Mercury.

    USB b port on the mercury is broken. Do it make any issue. I am getting issue in connecting to monitor in the conference. Can you please me with these?

    How friendly are the Flex systems to Macbook users who want to use BYOD? Considering an implementation, but the customer office is all Mac.

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Eric, sorry for the delayed reply. I only have one client using the FLEX systems and they don’t use macs so I did not have an answer for you. Yesterday I went by our most recent install and took my mac. Everything worked fine. It’s a UC-CX100-T system in this room. I should have a video of that, with a mac, up by 4pm est today. Thanks for the question.

    ! What would be the max number of participants in a room with this MX50-T kit ?

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These rooms have Skype for Business on them. The number of attendees is determined by the subscription that you pay for. As far as how many people can fit in the room physically, that depends on your state Covid compliance numbers... I would not recommend a conference table that seats much more than 20. Once you get into a larger room, you need to look into the custom solutions that Crestron offers. You can incorporate things like a Pro3 controller, a DSP and mics and speakers in the ceiling. I recommend the Shure MXA910 ceiling mics. They are amazing.

    Thank you for the demo, very informative. Can I add more than one USB camera on Flex with MTR? How can I put camera control on the touch panel especially if I use Logitech Rally PTZ camera? Thank you in advance.

    • @jmzwhite
      @jmzwhite 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Out of the box, only one USB camera is supported for VC with a second to be used as a "Content" camera. For PTZ control, you'll need a separate controller to integrate into the system, such as a Crestron controller or QSYS core.

    If you use the Zoom version (UC-MX50-Z) and set up a zoom room, can you also simply plug into the HDMI that goes into the Mercury chassis and display content on screen from a laptop without entering into a Zoom meeting? Or can you only share content if you're joined into the Zoom room?

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have never set up a system with zoom, but I do not see why it would be different than the teams version. If you plug into the hdmi that is connected to the Mercury, your content will appear on the screen weather you are in a zoom call or not.

    Hello, if the grouping for the rooms does not work and when I click on the group and then the room and the colors don’t change - I rebooted the panels as well as the Creston in the server room, same issue - what could be the problem?

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you have the room set up as Skype only, Teams only or Skype default and Teams in the settings?

    Hi, I already have table button microphones in my boardroom. can i integrate the button mics to this system?

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not to this particular set up. You can actually do away with those microphones and just use the microphone on the mercury. If you want to add additional microphones to the mercury Crestron sells them. If you want to use the current microphones that you have you have to add a DSP to the system. Check out my UC-CX100-T video.

    How to add camera control buttons?

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to create a smart graphics file and uploads it to the UC. Then add an IP table to the UC so it k led what controller to communicate with.

    Why can’t I display my laptop via hdmi

    • @FrankGuest
      @FrankGuest  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      How do you have it connected? In our set ups. The HDMI at the table feeds into the HDMI in on a AM3200 under the table. We run from the HDMI out on the AM to the In on the mercury. TX out of the mercury to the USB converter on the UC Bracket behind the display. HDMI out of the UC to the display. If you have it connected like that. Just plug the table HDMI into your PC and it should go to the display. If not, use toolbox to make sure the AM is seeing the laptop connection. If it is, go into the Crestron settings on the UC and look there. If not, check your cabling again. While you’re checking your cabling again, call true blue support. You will be on hold for a long time. So you will have plenty to of time to check your cabling.
