I like how the Russian factor is only applied to Demidov, and not Silayev.
McCagg whether you like him or not does have a pretty decent track record at predicting what will happen in the draft. It also lines up with what Corey Pronman has been saying who has also been accurate with draft predictions in recent years. Of course it's still all conjecture but as a Habs fan I'd be very happy with either Lindstrom or Demidov if we were to be that fortunate.
Lindstrom to the ducks.
@@tykara3404Unlikely
One of the 2 I woylukd be happy with
Levshunov, Demidov or Lindstrom for Ducks. Silayev at 3 is way too early
Ducks have an awful history when drafting guys from the KHL. Lindstrom makes the most sense because I trust Verbeek regarding development.
@@brianlind4456 If he is medically cleared i want Ducks to draft Lindstrom
Correct, we suck at drafting KHL and Silayev will be no different. He won’t be a duck.
I'm a Ducks fan and I disagree with a lot of fans wanting Lindstrom. He's a center and the team is pretty loaded at center so taking yet another would be a waste. What they need is a RW but all indications are that they will pass on Demidov. That leaves them taking D more than likely. Hopefully Levshunov is there to fill the hole left by Drysdale but if he's not Silayev does seem like a guy Verbeek would really like. He's tall and is a good skater but after that he needs a lot of work and seems to be one of those boom or bust players. If they're willing to take yet another LHD I would give some consideration to Buium or DIckinson. They don't have the defensive prowess or size as Silayev but they seem like safer bets.
THIS IS CORRECT. Demidov or Levshunov is the pick whichever one isn’t taken.
@@agenterf I'd like for an American doctor to examine Demidov's knee just to make sure there isn't anything going on there. I know he plays in the MHL and it's hard to get a gauge on how some of his skills will carry over into the NHL but regardless of what league he plays in there is top end skill there to be sure. Plus, a Cutter/Carlsson/Demidov line would be pretty crazy. I feel it's a longshot that the Ducks take Demidov but if a Ducks scout like Madden thinks we could be looking at the next Datsyuk maybe there is a chance.
i might be going to the draft hopefully wings don't trade their pick
Ducks do not have a history of drafting players from the KHL. They do have a history with Medicine Hat and will take Lindstrom.
I've been high on Levshunov for a while. I saw him in person play when I saw Frank Nazar and Michigan play Levshunov and Michigan State in NCAA tournament that was when I was like if the Hawks are drafting top 5 I want Levshunov. He a great skater and has a great puck moving ability. But I would be fine with Demidov as well so for me Levshunov or Demidov in Chicago would a win win.
Columbus will take Demidov, no chance they pass on him. We've already said we would take him
When was that said?
They’ve been trying to fix the middle of their ice for ages now, they’ll take Lindstrom over Demidov.
Are you the Columbus GM?
As a jackets fan I like demidov but I would rather have Lindstrom he fits what the jackets need well and honestly surin is the Russian that would best fit the jackets but I see him as a second round pick
The Russia factor isn’t an issue for Silayev? 😂
As a Jackets fan I like Lindstrom, Demidov, Levshunov, and Silayev in that order
nope, celebrini, lindstrom to san jose and anaheim, chicago is taking a defencemen, columbus is taking no idea but probably a forward and montreal is taking catton
i think its true. Demidov is sliding down. But habs can skip it too like they did taking Reinbacher.
Sennecke is now 6,3
I want MTL draft Sennecke
I don't think the Ducks will take a d-man.
Demidiv could also slip because the other teams need or want Dmen
Habs passed up Michkov, so Im pretty sure they will pass up on demi.
ivan "bpa" demidov to the hawks at #2!! lev's numbers aren't that much better than rinzel's numbers were at minnesota during his freshman year.
I dont think demi or linstrom will be there. Iginla im hoping for, c/w. 6 ft but plays like hes 7 ft. Perfect fit.
Hawks need a right handed shot defenseman
Demidov or seneke ! On D i want silayev ! For montreal !
Buium or Lindstrom to Anaheim at 3
That's assuming no one trades up... Wink wink Ottawa
A lot going on
Demedov has too much talent for the Habs to let him slide. They would take him at 5. Cheers
Suzuki Caulfield Slafkovsky , Dach Demidov and trade for Byfield
You wouldn’t be able to pay that many players in the top 6 in 2-3 years.
@@HabsTypeBeatyes we would
@@griefedyourgame3128no you won't, you'll be like the maple leafs
@HabsTypeBeat be hard but what a team they would have
@@kevingarcia-zq3ng Wouod be the best top 6 in the league and wouldn’t be close, which is why it’s impossible. In 3 years there’s a chance you have 6 players making 7-8 mill? That doesn’t happen, has never happened and will never happen. At least not until the cap goes up 20 mill.
Unless Bobrov knows something other scouts don’t, hard pass on Demidov.
Iginla is the guy to take at 5
I heard on a recent podcast that there's uncertainty that Demidov won't sign a KHL contract.
That’s news everywhere dude. It’s nothing new
There’s always uncertainty. Him denying multiple offers and trying to break his current contract leans more away from that tho.
Like Iginla over Demidov
Safe moves are made everyday in the NHL based on Nepotism.
Ducks fan here, if we draft Silayev I’m becoming an LA Kings fan. That kid sucks at hockey.
Don’t let the door hit ya
Cry about it gonna leave your team over one pick
Just to calm your nerves; the ducks have drafted 23 players from the KHL. In the past 25 years only one in the 1st round. The history suggests the Ducks will either go center or defender. Lindstrom and the Medicine Hat Tigers have a long history with the Ducks franchise (Emerson Etem) most recently. Very few analysts actually watch Anaheim at all and have a severe Canadien bias. I’ve been a Ducks fan since 96 and have seen the highs and lows of the franchise. One consistent trend the Ducks have always had is consistency in drafting NHL talent. They have a 38% success rate in getting draft prospects to the NHL. This team is turning the corner and when development camp starts in July I expect puckpedia will have to update at least 35% of the ducks organization due to roster movement.
@@griefedyourgame3128 Nah I’m just THAT confident we aren’t gonna take that loser
@@brianlind4456 Exactly USUALLY we know how to draft. That’s why we aren’t taking Silayev
