One of the best van builds I’ve seen w lots of great ideas. Do you ever wish you had a 4 wheel drive truck like a 3/4 ton or one ton full size Ford truck with a camper?
Yes, many times hahah. Especially bc I got rid of my 6.6 duramax to buy this van. The sprinters little 3.0 v6 diesel gets the job done but nothing like a truck is capable of. There are pros and cons to each. If you plan on spending more time on forest roads and crossing to the most epic spots available a truck and camper is the better way. But for full time living the convenience of a van is hard to beat

@john-h5j6w well we had just about the worst luck you could have. The engine ended up failing us going up a really steep hill in upstate New York. Thankfully, our in-laws were only four hours away. Definitely have a good AAA tow plan! I was able to figure out how to get a replacement engine in the van myself however, this would obviously have been way more expensive if I had to take it to a shop, it was all part of the experience and we don’t regret a thing!!
Beautiful layout, but come on - you did not fully introduce us to your 2 pups ;-)
Can you share your replacement engine experience and story, too? I am debating to buy an older Van like yours (well, maybe a little younger) and replace the engine right of the bat.
Hahaha yes you are right! We failed to formally introduce Zoey and Scout! Will make sure to in the next video.
The engine replacement wasn’t too bad at all. Do you have a spare engine laying around?
Where did you find the lights with USB chargers?
Found them on Amazon and highly recommend. Shoot us a dm on Instagram and I’ll find them and send ya the link if ya want @goandlivefree
She certainly has come a long way!! So happy for you guys & your newfound freedom 💛 so in love w your water conserving shower too ✨ you have a new sub & loving support from some fellow van builders here Xx
awwhhhh thank you guys so much! WE ARE LOVING IT!!
Nice build! Is that mega roof metal or fiberglass?
The mega roof topper is fiberglass!
Can you tell me the make and model of your tv bracket arm ? Thanks
It’s an Amazon basics monitor arm. Believe it was about 100 bucks. Was a little pricey but I absolutely love it. I can position it perfectly every time and it stays put
Thanks for the reply
@@Ababab60 of course! That’s what these are for right ?! 🤪
Great design! How did you guys solve the heat of the oven against the fridge-freezer underneath?
What is the brand of your stove-oven cooker?
I placed a piece of firewall insulation under the stove. Haven’t had any issues , and the oven vents upward. The stove is a furrion 17”
That custom seat is like a Doraemon pocket.... before you know it he’d pull a scooter from there 😂👍
Hahahahah it’s like a magicians hat! Full of tricks 😎🥸🤪
How did you all do the gray water thing hands free
We have a dc ball valve hooked to that switch
