    You have to register within 10 days for their damage coverage warranty to be in effect.

    Hey, I bought one fully discharged and was told to plug it into the outlet to charge it for 8 hours before using it; what I did not understand is whether I need to plug it while is turned off or while is powered on 🙁 cheers, I from DR 🇩🇴

      when you get it after connecting battery just plug it in if it comes on when it gets plugged in thats fine you just want it charged before adding a load to it so charge it full before connecting things to it should be fine

      @@ZNsolo101 Hi again, today I've finally followed the missing steps to get the product registered; thanks for this content bro. With regards to the Hibernate step, what you meant is that with this Windows feature already set up, if PowerChute tries to shut down my workstation automatically with "preserve battery power", my workstation will partially shut down with the advatage that my back UPS will provide approximatelly 2 days of charge to the station? Guess that once the home electricty is back on, the station won't automatically remove the Hibernation but at least it will have the station powered on in a few seconds (for those who only have HDD this is very convenient; I have an old 1TB Black Label WD & I witness that it's an amazing Low Cost HDD which boots my W10 within approx. 20-30 seconds, and I have a 2012 MSI board)

    Would like to see which port in my pc I’m supposed to plug it into but cool I guess. Also why do I have to charge it for 8 hours. Does it break something if I don’t?

    • @ZNsolo101

      ??? It's very common sense the USB end can plug in to any USB port any of them it fits

    • @Fadedshadows
      @Fadedshadows ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ZNsolo101 I know they fit but they’re color coded and because I’m new to pc I’d like to not break my $3,600 pc. With how complicated pc can be I’m not sure why it would be strange to ask questions even as simple as that. My bad, I’ll just wing it next time rather than asking professionals.😐

    • @ZNsolo101
      @ZNsolo101  ปีที่แล้ว

      @Jordan Dare that's understandable. I feel like it's obvious because I work with it every day, I would never have thought to show the process of plugin it into the PC I do forget sometimes that some are so new to pc my apologies for my first response. Even tho it is color coded the apc can plug into any of the USB it's compatible with USB 1 USB 2 and USB 3 spec and we'll work over all 3 just fine but the preferred would be a USB 2 connection or blue by color the color code does not always match motherboard do there own thing and sometimes make them all blue or other colors not matching spec just something to note it well still work fine in any USB it only uses the data channels not the power so USB 3 is nice but not require and personal preference is one of the back USB would be best imo I hope thos better answers your question I was not sure how to answer most devices are safe to plug into any USB gen 1 or 2

    • @ZNsolo101
      @ZNsolo101  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      this is a tricky answers it really depends on what you want it does not hurt it to turn it off when not using it but it should still leave it plugged in to keep the battery charged if your looking to save a bit of power its a good option there designed operate 24/7 to prevent data loss in a power outage so always plugged in and always on is how it would be expected to run. in simple terms its a large power bar with battery's they have an off button but you only use it to save power witch its ok. but please read manual for storing it for long periods of time or contact support for that info as im not sure storing it fully charged its good for it over long periods of time

      @ictr3ma255 how could it work if it's not connected? How would it know the powers out of it? It can't talk to the pc to tell it to shut down, so no, the software won't shut it down or have any info from it if its not connected if the battery doesn't tell it to shut down then it won't.

      @Inscryption in the software it might not show it at a 100% when it is in use as it not good to keep it at 100% for any battery so it would make since that it would turn on and off for the charging to stop it from over charging the software might show it more accurate then the read out on the device if it is dropping more and more might be time to check battery or replace
