If you are standing in front of the stage, it's not going to be mixed properly, the vocals are running through the stage monitors, and the mains, neither of which will be audible from the camera man's vantage point.

@@bluelight1319You’re so wrong dude. I go to 200 shows a year in clubs from 100-1,200 maximum capacity. No band sounds good under these conditions on a cellphone recording. Especially raw sound when you’re BEHIND the front of house speakers. I guess you wouldn’t get it
I’m not a fan of Motley Crue. I can’t name more than 2 of their songs and on my opinion their complete trash I loathe hair metal or whatever you call it. But for what it’s worth, you’re listening to a live band in a small club recorded on a phone. You’re not even getting a direct recording this is just what a phone picked up. Unless you’re right on the FOH speakers you’re not going to get a better sound than this.

If he was in shape and continued to work on his craft he would be able to sing well. Look at Mick Mars, he much older, in pain but the man can play his behind off..
