    That dynamic parent thing is a must have. I have spent so much time moving objects around trying to make it look natural when one character gives something to another character. Your message at the end is perfect. I've been using blender for years and I watch these addon videos all the time but I rarely actually install one. I just see them as backup plans for the future, something to keep my eye on

    I've seen a demo for the particle nodes and it reminded me so much of Winamp's Advanced Visualization System editor. The "everything node" implementation that Blender team is preparing would be like the quantum mechanics and general relativity of the 3D universe, where the types of nodes would be like the types of marticles, and the ways they interact make up the Standard model.

    yeah i agree with what he said near the end.
    animation fundamentals are so important that
    the lacks of it would just make everything "lifeless" no matter how awesome tools/looks are.
    only install the addons that make you think "OMG i SO NEED this feature"
    its like learning to draw with pencil and paper, dont bring more distractions to yourself at first.
    animation is 100% if not more qualified as an art,
    its a beautiful thing for those who love it.
    (probly agony at the same time or is it just me : b)

    MotionTrail3D looks dope. I think this is something Blender should have by default, the ability to edit the animation via the generated motion trails.

  • @yajastudio8241
    @yajastudio8241 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Animaide is the addon of my dreams. I really wish Blender had a lot of these tools by default. The animation interface is especially lacking compared to other animation software, but thankfully the awesome Blender community has got our backs!

  • @basharalali8540
    @basharalali8540 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    I'm glad you included x-muscle. I have been experimenting with it for a while, not that many resources out there on learning to use it, but the developer is chill and will answer any questions if you email. Though I still don't know how do you gradually remove layers or make skin transparent in the final render, as we see in the jungle book animation?
    awesome video dude, thank you for sharing all this useful knowledge

    • @LordBaktor
      @LordBaktor 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That animation is probably just three different renders put toghether in editing. You could probably do it in blender animating the transparency value of materials, but it's faster to just do it in editing, I think.

    I'm glad you mentioned that addons aren't a shortcut to mastering the fundamentals. Don't get me wrong I like addons just as much as the next girl/guy, just think people shouldn't rely on 'm. *The dynamic parenting is an absolute win, though!*

  • @Morgtus
    @Morgtus 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    All addons is amazing, but Dynamic Parrent - this is the best, its solution for some problems with animation rotation object who have keep offset or child off parent - i have many times weard animation. Dynamic parent solve all my problems with this case
    Thank you very much

    Oh jeez... As a complete rookie when it comes to blender animation, I have had a number of obstacles I couldn't get past.
    This video just solved most of them, and I think I'm gonna have to take it in segments, otherwise, it's just way too much info for my newbie brain.

When I try to install it from preferences it says module installed but I do not see it in preferences. I wonder if it works with 2.83 alpha
