A lot of times I find myself fighting with Blender’s snapping function. The Quicksnap addon is a must have. it also works in Edit mode. thanks for sharing

I love the Gravity Collider Bone Physics addon, it’s good if you want something like wiggle bones but you want collisions and you want it to be a permanent and consistent part of the rig. amazing video, so helpful. thank you!!

I use CAD transform a lot. It's very similar to the snapping addon you mentioned, but as someone who originally came from CAD, it really helps a lot for certain actions I expect to exist in a 3d software that simply don't (or at least don't in an accessible way).
I never leave comments on the youtube videos i watch, but this video is truly so helpful to an extent where I had to at least say thank you. This will really contribute to my 3D scenes and I'm really grateful you took the time out of your day to make such a good video for us to use.

WOW! What an amazing list! I've seen videos of addon recommendations but usually it's stuff that I would never use. But these! Every time you mentioned another item on your list I was like WHAT! NO! How have I lived without these! Thank you stache!
Should have mentioned machin3 tools, it is a free addon that brings a bunch of new pie menu's, short cuts and more. My favorite feature they have is the smart view cam, which is like the regular cam to view but is automatically zooms in and out. I also like like the mesh cleaner which cleans your mesh of any duplicates, random floating parts and some issues.
Oh dude I tried machine tools but felt like i couldn't cover it's features in a short 30 sec segment so had to drop it. But I'll definitely checkout mesh cleaner

This vid is like a Christmas present to a Blender noob like me. I don't have any assets saved at all and I'm just starting to learn it so this will help me tremendously. Loved the humor in the vid! haha
stache Things I thought would work don't. Like if I parent an object to other objects I thought I could treat the parent object and the other objects would follow Like mirroring But it didn't work. So then I ask myself if I want to treat several objects like one? Should I join them, parent them. Or try to blend them as one mash? You can sit there and pull your hair out trying something and it never works. Thx!! I'm gonna download some of these free things today for sure.

There was an entire R&D department at my old animation job that didn't make stuff this good. Now that I'm a one man studio, my R&D department is the entire Blender community.

UV Squares is the addon I can't live without in Blender! It just makes uv unwraping so clean and fun! And I'm definitely trying the other addons too! Thank you so much for this video, just subbed 😄👍
i never thought to use an older version of blender for my large volume of addons. And keep my 3.5 blender version clean for optimization. Thanks for the tip!
If you have a really good computer, it might not make much difference, other than reducing some clutter. But still a good tip i think for overall performance. Glad it helped
@@stache_obj well the thing is, I have an rtx 3080ti, and core i9 11th gen. I noticed after running many addons, my blender kept crashing before I could even render a scene. So I reset blender back to vanilla settings and it fixed the problem, now im very limited with the amount of addons I install (only the ones I use in my daily workflow)
@@DimiArt So you have two versions of Blender, one for the compatibility with addons and the other? I hope I understood well because my 4.2 Blender can't install the Illumination for EEVEE
@@ulrika8198 well actually i've been using blender 4.2 with lots of addons and it seems to work fine. I don't really use Eevee so im not too sure, but i do know addons are installed differently on blender 4.2 and will be installed differently going forward

the snapping and alignment, and the drop ones are so amazing, I need to get them immediately. Just the other day I was trying to put a desert on a plate, and I spent a ton of time trying to get it just right on the plate

There are 2 super handy addons called "extra material list" and "extra image list". I've converted both to blender 2.8 and did some extra work on them
