My communication skills is not that great, my organisation skills is not that bad but it does need a lot of work , my relationship skills 💔 but I think My creative thinking skills I can give it a 6 so I’ll try to look into this and once again thank you for this video ❤️

    I am currently a Systems Manager but i have been doing aome PM work within my role i am thinking of doing Agile PM & Prince 2 Agile, do you think its best to just do the foundation rather than practitioner due to the limit you have the courses valid ?

    • @pitolinmotion
      @pitolinmotion  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks :) well you can’t do the practitioner without doing the foundation anyways. I always advise people to do the foundation to start. Courses generally are just a tick box exercise so really unless you need to knowledge of the practitioner in your role. I wouldn’t pay for it. If your work place is paying for it, defo do both

    Hey! Great content! I have a question: I will finish my MBA in Aug 2024 and wanted to know, what if the team you are leading contains a slacker (an intern who continually fails to turn in assignments on time, lies about the assigned work, provides work that fails to meet expectations, fails to respond to communications from me)...what do I do in this case? I currently work as internship coordinator and executive assistant for a film production company on a major feature film project due to make big screen next year. I work unpaid (moved from unpaid intern to unpaid position within 4 months, but now make 1 year with the company unpaid) and i feel like that specific social media intern maybe is feeling discouraged from being unpaid and from the heavy workload. I had a meeting with him and the two head producers about it, but he continues to do the same thing. The other 4 interns are doing fine however. I really want to be a Project Manager at a larger company once I graduate and want to know how to help that intern feel like I'm not pressuring him. What should I do to build the team?

    • @pitolinmotion
      @pitolinmotion  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey! So this is a very multifaceted question lol, and hard to kinda just give advise over comments. I honestly believe thing like this are best resolved through a combination of relationship management and Esculations. The better relationships you have with people. The more they will work for you and you can influence them (how to do this is a completely different essay lol) and failing that. You just gotta snitch to their manager. At the end of the day. You manage the project. Not them and if they are not working towards the objectives of the project. Then … sorry but I’m calling you out !

      Hey sorry you’re having a hard time with securing a role…PM is really competitive at the moment , but I wouldn’t give up. You have an interview, and you only need to smash one to get one job right ? Ensure you are applying for entry level roles as this may be reflective of your experience. And maybe get a professional to look at your CV if you haven’t already. There might be something you haven’t added, or you are not communicating well
