That gear video should be interesting. I am convinced that my ideal range would be 12-46, 9 or 10 speeds would be great. I tested SRAM EX1 (11-48) and found 8 speed having just a bit too large jump between the gears.

Thanks Andy for the correction on the pronounciation. We spent 3 days in Kinlochleven and Aonach Mor and obviously WolfTrax is in Laggan, we did the Wolftrax trails on the way home to Inverurie in Aberdeenshire :-)
