It's been on C-span. One of the c-span channels is mostly just a feed of the House chambers committee meetings. It is usually lots of empty seats.
This particular committee meeting was the same, not much attendance during debate days, then people showed up late, and got butt-hurt that they couldn't delay the vote for THEIR convenience.

McConnell not holding a hearing for nominated Garland ("we need wait for the next election in 10 months" - in 2016), then rushing Comet-Barret hearing n vote (a mere 2 months before 2020 election), was dishonest at best; political chicanery.
And this is what REPRESENTS THE PEOPLE! No wonder OUR country is in the toilet.

The main issue is that these goobers think that it is okay to stop doing their job for an entire year, just to campaign that they need to keep that job. At a minimum, that is a 16.6% loss (1year campaign/6year term for senators) of political work to help the people. Not to mention all the vacation time, holiday, and when things get real easy government shutdowns. It's supposed to be 3 branches of government in our capitol, not 3 rings of clowns in a circus tent.

Or maybe if the Republicans would get off their lazy ass and come to these hearings in this committee that they find to be so important, they would’ve had their voice heard. Let’s say you were a teacher, and you had a student who refused to show up to class to learn the content, but when they came on the day of the test they claimed that the class shouldn’t take it because they didn’t know anything about topic. Would you say “Okay class forget the test, we’re gonna teach the same thing we already taught again because this guy wasn’t here,” or are you going to say, “Sucks to be you,” and make them take the test anyways. This is what the Republicans did. Like a teacher with lesson plans, the committee has a very strict schedule of things it needs to do on any given day. If the Republicans want to act like the stuck up idiots they are and boycott their chance to speak, they can do that, but just like in a classroom, everyone else is going to move on with or without them.

Which he won by 1,400-votes due to gerrymandering district lines. He said he would send "a message to Washington and to President Reagan that our economic policies are not working."
