However, it should be noted that Seth Aframe was responsible for prosecuting and convicting these men, even when these cases went to the supreme court as 4th amendment violations. Had it not been for him, it's possible these men might not have been prosecuted let alone convicted. I understand why she might feel the punishments are inadequate, yet she had no issues supporting an alleged rapist to the actual supreme court, a higher position than this one. Funny how the GOP has issues with people who prosecute rapists, but not actual rapists.

This is a hearing to consider someone for a new position. Seems to me the issue should be removing this judge from any position of consequence in our justice system., especially if the allegations are credible/true. A three year old ? Unimaginable to me, let alone the 14 year old. How do we allow such people to stay in authoritative positions ? And, oh by the way, how are these “judges” not looking out for the best interests of children that are being abused. And, don’t they have children in their lives that are susceptible to this kind of abuse ? Rant over.
What did the judge do exactly? He sentenced him for his crime and sent him to prison didn’t he?

He was not a judge; he was the prosecutor. Had it not been for him, these men might not have been convicted or even tried for these crimes. Thanks to him, they were convicted. Blackburn seems outraged by what she deems inadequate punishments yet had no issues with supporting the nomination of a rapist to the supreme court.

While these punishments might seem inadequate, these men might not have been convicted or even tried had it not been for this prosecutor. Blackburn seems outraged by these convictions, yet she had no issues with supporting the nomination of an actual rapist to the supreme court.

I can relate to the 3 year old. I am grateful he was caught. She did get justice in some sense he was revealed. However the trauma and aftermath is very difficult to deal with I pray for that baby!! The Judge that tried that case should be kicked off the bench not promoted!! That would be real justice!!! The case should be retried and real justice prevail!! With a real Judge!!!!
