Xbox 360 was the peak of online gaming. Microsoft really nailed sending requests and party chat. In the meantime, Nintendo is still using "friend codes".
Almost all of these were also on Xbox 360. I imagine you have mentioned it before but to me Tokyo Jungle is a sadly forgotten PS3 game. It has fans still playing today and you can still buy it on the PS3 store but it definitely deserves a revival.
yeah it's not a list of exclusives! it'd be a fairly short list of PS3-only games that never went elsewhere these days, including my beloved MGS4 (for now)
Enslaved is one of my favorite games of all time. Some of the characters in gaming I've cared about the most. The emotion and way they communicate with each other was really well done. Monkey is an incredibly well grounded character and behaves naturally when presented with the facts, he doesn't overreact and blow things out of proportion he just accepts it and figures out the best course of action following.
I somewhat agree. 4th-6th generations were def far more innovative. 8th and 9th generation are more about polish and playability. Some of the lack of innovation/creativity has been due to large budget games that have committee thinking killing creativity. @STRONGG_ONE
Whenever I watch a Cultured Vultures video I always have two major emotions. One is of joy of watching a video games I enjoyed in the past. =) The other is the disappointment of classic games that I missed out on and in some cases may never get to play. =(
I really enjoyed Dante's Inferno but also what's really impressive about the game is that Visceral made it in under a year. Really aggressive dev cycle but I believe it was because they wanted it released before God Of War 3.
It's hard to recommend forgotten or obscure games as I don't know if it's really obscure or I just never heard anyone talk about it. How about: Binary Domain
Enslaved is a really fun game. I got that one at a flea market for about $5 and when I played it I was really impressed by it. Dante’s Inferno is also a great game. That one I would hear about it a lot back when it came out. Another great game is Splatterhouse for the PS3. Hard as hell, though.
Didn’t forget about any of them, got them all in box except for Sideway, which stayed digital (but including Rain in English and Chinese because it also released in HK), and completed many of them. As a PS3 collector, I love my AA games. 😁
Mad respects for you for including 2 of my beloved games ever: Majin and Enslaved ♥ Although I would recommend them on the Xbox 360 for those who have the console, they're still solid on the PS3 Game Republic was a true passionate developer, R.I.P.
Loads of games still run like absolute donkey nuts. Especially sony first party games. On a scale of good, great, or excellent, RPCS3 is "Acceptable" at best right now. It will get there eventually.
Added a few like knights conquest. Im hitting up the backlog and currently played and beat enslaved, and others not listed shadows of the damned, spec ops the line, alice madness returns. Current playing blades of time. Who needs a ps5 with little to no games when theres so many being neglected
I loved Legasista but damn that game is locked on the PS3. A dungeon crawler that is on the likes of Class of Heroes, and Cladun. Oh speaking of which Cladun! By the way I use to have Knight's Contract but it was only an EU copy because NA was ass'd not enough to have one physically.
How about the digital only title Papo & Yo? I only ever got to play the demo, but I liked it and have always regretted not purchasing it when I had the chance.
Youngblood is my favorite Switch game after Apex Legends! It’s an underrated middle tier gem! That is what it set out to be! A multiplayer, full 3D Mega Man X! Great Stuff, as always!
Niice list Most of them i played n recommended them on reddit 3d dot heroes Hack versus Ex trooper Initial d Inversion Wet Wanted Gundam vs boost Tokyo jungle Motorsports apocolyse Modnation Puppetear

Pretty much skipped the PS3 and that entire generation, so I've been trying to catch up the past few years. This video will absolutely help with that.
Same man thats why I'm here. I wasn't fortunate to own a ps3 and always heard they had a lot of best games.
You can hack them and install loads of JB folders internally or load isos from external storage. Mr Mario on TH-cam has the best tutorials
Yeah, I skipped it too.

I started to collect games when ps3 launched. I feel lucky, greatest gaming days in my opinion

A hidden gem for me would be Dragons crown. It’s one of my favorite PlayStation 3 games.
Not so “hidden”.
Singularity was awesome. One of more unique shooters with all the time warping and stuff very awesome overlooked game.
One of my favorites that I never pass up the opportunity to recommend to others. Such a shame we'll never get a sequel.
Enslaved is also on Steam. And is an amazing game, plus it got a DLC for one of the other characters. One of the greats.
I got it.
4:50 White chocolate pretzels are the best. Those and glazed pecans.
Came to see if Puppeteer was mentioned. It was not, but is deserving of attention.
7th generation was one of the last creative moments in gaming
sure bro
For the AAA market anyways. Indie and AA games are still making interesting stuff.
9th generation (this current generation) has it beat tbh.

3D Dot Game Heroes should have made this list.
Did someone ask for a 3D Dot Game Heroes mention? ;) th-cam.com/video/VeBT8Zl6tng/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gG0Lmsa0xpeVgQmS
Often talked about.
@@Parisiancollector - Still a beautiful game, though.
It's the first ps3 hidden I got

Just finished enslaved. It was fantastic.... Once the story got going I was hooked. Going to revisit it again years later.
@@chlamygamine2190 Definitely agree, the story is really good! I wish they would have made this game into a movie.

Many Thanks for this video! Wolfenstein of 2009 - one of my favorite shooters.
A Link Between Worlds also borrowed from Sideway only two years later
Asuras wrath on ps3 is the full game , after credits the game continues part 2 and so on , I know many people put the game off when credits roll
Thank goodness for RPCS3.

Dead 2 rights was an classic
Every time you wave a game in front of us I can almost hear you saying “Wooh, wooh, look what I’ve got. See how shiny it is!”
I have Enslaved on Steam so haven't forgotten about it. 😊
Tekken Tag tournament 2 is a fun one for me
Vultures back in action we’re on the road to 100K subscribers

Loved the first two resistance games they need a comeback
Folklore is, also, a sadly forgotten great game
Asuras wrath is all I want in the game and I loved it!
Tho big shame on dlc shenanigans.
Speaking about bangers on PS3: WipEout HD Fury 🎉
I own most of them, some are hard to obtain (expensive).
Good list
I gotta check out Majin the Forsaken Kingdom and Enslaved: Journey to the West
I have Enslaved on Steam its great.
Enslaved is a great game. I enjoyed Asura's Wrath too, but the final boss was underwhelming.
there's dlc that apparently contains a final chapter of this btw
Cool ship animation.
Al's Gore Rhythm
I'm glad I'm not the only idiot who does this 😂

Sad to know that apparently Dante's Inferno was a banger only in Italy (for understandable reasons) xD

what is it called?
What happened to Starhawk ?
Jesus, another human being that even knows Sideways exists. There's 2 of us!
And then imemdiately breaking my heart by mentioning Concrete Genie... 😭
Asura's Wrath should have gotten an anime adaptation.
Almost all of these are available on the wildly better 360
How about the digital only title Papo & Yo? I only ever got to play the demo, but I liked it and have always regretted not purchasing it when I had the chance.
It’s still available on Steam.
That lo-fi ff7 music
I own all of these except Sideway, whats better than being Knighted haha
The background music in the game, Is it from Age of empires 2 but slowed and reverbed? @CulturedVultures
