Even though he passed in 1994 in a very tragic F1 racing crash, he is still considered The G.O.A.T of motor racing by most racing drivers, engeniers, chief crews and team bosses in the whole world until this day. What a Legend!

I always love seeing you and Reggie together. You're a couple of class dudes and it was hard not seeing yall together when the pandemic was in full swing. Great videos and I usually find something I need to pick up
Brazillian fan here - Ayrton Senna is was one of the best Formula 1 racers of all time - arguably the best. Unfortunately his carreer was cut short by a fatal F1 accident.
I felt like a kid again on Christmas when this I saw this video go up. This was a nice holiday video drop. Good to see you guys together Happy Holidays guys.
I've finished Metroid Dread a few times, both on Normal and on Hard mode, I'd say don't worry about using parry on the EMMI's. Throughout playing through the game I've been able to parry the EMMI i think once or twice in total. Try to be as stealthy as possible. Definitely my game of the year :)
@@MetalJesusRocks Depends on the room/emmi. For the early ones you can run through and generally survive if you know the direction. Don't be discouraged if you die learning the route, I did that allot. For the later one, a bit of patience and stealth mode invisibility is required at times. That includes sometimes standing still and hoping not to be discovered.
Yep I finished the normal mode as well. It was a great game and you get a real satisfaction when you complete it. Don’t worry about parrying the EMMI. Just avoid and use stealth mode when necessary.
Ayrton Senna was a Brazilian driver, 3 times Formula 1 champion who tragically died in 1994 in Italy during a race. Since then he has become a national hero, mainly for his social work work which is now supported by his sister helping those most in need. Merry Christmas MJR, I wish you all the best, I love your content. Hugs from Brazil!

Ayrton Senna the most epic driver ever, nobody will ever compare. Too many accomplishments to list. Top gear has a small special about him, worth the watch. Happy holidays
Metroid Dread, the game tells you early on that if you get caught, you have a 90% chance of getting powned. So I'm pretty sure it's a design choice. The timing of the parry seems pretty random. You're not supposed to ever get caught in the first place. I agree it's frustrating though.
Yeah essentially the only successful EMMI parries I had were guesses. You aren't supposed to be able to parry them at will, you can parry everything else including bosses though. For the EMMI parts you have to learn the area, places to hide, or correct paths they want you to take until you can take them down. Getting a successful parry on an EMMI was never part of my 'gameplan.'
Was literally checking your channel yesterday watching your retro road trips and was wondering when the next pick ups with reggie was coming out and low and behold it’s here , happy holidays 🎅🏻 🎄
I beat Metroid and I have my fair share of issues with it (mainly the map being really confusing to me so I'd get lost all the time) but I thought the parrying worked just fine. The E.M.M.I.s are meant to be tough to parry but it's so satisfying when you pull it off and the rest of the enemies have a pretty generous parry window.
Horizon Chase's developer is from my hometown (Porto Alegre). Seeing their work making success abroad makes me very proud. I was there, in the store, when they released the first game console copy. We Brazilians struggle with poverty and inequality, and little thinks like this makes us believe that there is hope (despite our politics)
Metroid dread was my first metroid game I've ever played for more than 30 minutes and I beat it. There were super hard parts but beating it was one of my most rewarding gaming experiences of the year. The game says you aren't really supposed to parry the Emmis. I think it says the chance is almost none it will work so stay away from them.
I loved Metroid Dread. I went for 100% and beat the game within the first 2 days of owning it. The parry mechanic can be a bit difficult, but with practice it works.
Before everyone runs out and buys another copy of Horizon Turbo from Brazil, the Senna DLC is code only and not on the disc. If you already have a copy of the game, you can just buy the DLC without feeling like you are missing out on another edition of the game. Unless you want the new cover, it’s hard to recommend purchasing another copy of it especially with the premium price that’s being asked.
Lady Terminator is fucking hilarious. Reggie just went up even more in my book for that one! Mondo Macabro puts out amazing b movie schlock films, mostly ones made in Asia..and man they're great.
I was thinking those enemys in Captian Camando looked like Final Fight enemys while watching the gameplay and then you said it's in the same universe. I LOVED Final Fight when I was a little kid so I now I gotta check this out. Glad you showed this off.
I had Covid back in November and couldn’t go to work. I played Metroid Dread and beat it twice while I was quarantining. Not bragging about being good, saying I had nothing but time to dedicate to it. If I didn’t have the time I probably would have gave up at one point. But it is a fun game and I am glad I got to spend time with it.
Huntdown is amazing! I sat down to play based on your recommendation. Another one Reggie was spot on about. I could hardly stop playing. "Git gud" a term made up by all the new generation of tweens living in mommy and daddy's basement. Entitled, im depressed, I dont want to work generation of today's society.
I'm pushing 50 and 'git gud' is pretty much the sentiment of most of us old gamer farts. @@Jsteiner1974 im 40 and I can tell you that back in the 80s and 90s there was no "git gud" term. We were not that tarted to make up a term like that. disagree on GOTG, think the combat is pretty good and if Star-Lord was too strong it would just feel like God of War with guns.
When metal jesus says "Huh" either means, he doesn't know about it, or he's not interested lol
"Git gud" a term made up by all the new generation of tweens living in mommy and daddy's basement. Entitled, im depressed, I dont want to work generation of today's society.
I'm pushing 50 and 'git gud' is pretty much the sentiment of most of us old gamer farts. This is because the games we grew up with were challenging by default, and you were supposed to get your ass kicked until you practiced enough to 'git gud' otherwise you'd run out of quarters in no time. We're used to games being challenging, the younger gamers aren't.
@@Jsteiner1974 im 40 and I can tell you that back in the 80s and 90s there was no "git gud" term. We were not that tarted to make up a term like that. Games were definitely challenging but we didn't go around and be like "git gud" and sound like these depressed, I dont want to work entitled tweens of today. We would have got our but kicked by our parents for being that stupid.
@@dsidebotham I never claimed the term existed back then. The concept behind it certainly did. You were expected to actually apply yourself and put in an effort to improve your skill.
@@Jsteiner1974 well thats great. My post was about the TERM "git gud"
@@dsidebotham yeah I get that. and you said that it was made up by tweens. clearly we disagree. PS - git gud
Love these pick ups vids, especially when their is lots of variety in the games shown :)
