For those changing their EDC dampers, remember to ask the garage to reset the EDC control unit so that it knows that new EDC dampers have been installed, so that the wear compensation algorithm is reset.
@@towlston76No, it’s not for faults. There’s literally a reset control unit function on BMW’s diagnostic software and other compatible diagnostic computers. You will notice a more compliant ride, as the control unit does not try to compensate for higher mileage dampers. From BMW literature: “Mechanical wear causes the dampers to weaken over the service life, therefore a running time memory adapts the damper curves towards a harder setting (over time). Faulty dampers must be replaced together (in pairs) on a single axle. After a replacement, the running time memory for the front or rear axle must be reset with the BMW diagnostic equipment".
@@mlhj83 ah - so just another way to tax the car. Well that blows, wasn’t thinking I would need to do any of that. Is there a simipler way to accomplish this?
@@towlston76 No other way unfortunately, but the garage who installed the dampers should be able to do it for the cost that you have paid to change the dampers. It’s literally just a few buttons/clicks on the diagnostic computer.
Without question that is the best looking M3 you have there. What a stunner. All I’d want is a tan interior and pan roof! Oh and maybe a supercharger 🥰
R&D is always the painstaking process of creating the best product for these cars! I’ve been awaiting for this to happen and will look forward to your springs too 🙏🏽👏🏽
Nice work on those dampers. The E92 M3 in Japan Red is a beautiful car. As a former E46 M3 owner and a current F87 M2C owner, I think the E92 M3 is Peak M3. (If the E46 M3 CSL was available world-wide and if it had DCT instead of SMG, I would rank it equal with the E92 M3.)
If I can give some honest constructive feedback. I love Evolve and watch most of your videos. This all seems a lot of effort, and expense. Just because you have an M3 it does not mean you are made of money and happy to throw money down the pan. (Sorry if that sounds a bit angry lol) What's wrong with using KW V2, V3 or clubsport depending on budget? I have the new version of Kw v2, which includes the rebound setting, same as the former v3. They are great! Consisting of various setups or tunning, conforming to use. You can have the car slammed to the ground or raised sightly to be a bit more road compliant. You can have them super stiff for the track or tonned down a bit for the road. I have the rebound just over halfway and its more than comfortable. Kw is one package, where is the benifit of spending more on this kit. Also KW is tried and tested. Countless hours on the Ring. GRANTED you need to find the right people to set them up along with a 'Hunter wheel alignment.' But thats where a Sambos tyres would come in or Suspension Secrets.
Have really enjoyed all your E92 M3 content! Keep up the good work. Do these evolve x bilstein struts carry a lifetime warranty like bilstein's regular B6 HD EDC Kit?
Yeah thatd be amazing! The warranty will likely be the deciding factory for me when I upgrade to B6s or Evolve. Be amazing to see ECS/Tuner/FCP sell these
Amazing! They have arrived! Thank you Imran Bahi! Quick question - Just confirming if I need bump stops or not… Stretens video didn’t have any front or rear.
Love the products and channel, quick question. I see that these are priced about the same if not slightly more than a Bilstein B16 Damptronic coilover kit (at least where i am located). Curious how these would compare? I always assumed a true full coilover conversion would be superior overall. These must have better drivability around town/city driving? These combined with a lowering spring won't wear out the strut earlier as is the case with the OEM damptronic units?
The retail for the B16 Damptronic is nearly 50% more here in the U.K. The B16 setup will be a stiffer setup again more focused for track usage. Our B6 dampers have been developed to work with lowering springs,
0:01-0:04 Wait, this video is also something you have yourself waited a long time to see, even though you're the one making the video? LOL Almost $3k for only struts is wild.
So no difference between EDC cars with ZCP package? These replace plain EDC? BMW uses different struts/shocks for EDC/ZCP and EDC packaging. I think the struts are shorter on ZCP. Then again, real BMW EDC/ZCP struts cost outrageous and you have to find them in Europe. NLA in USA. Or that is what my Dealer said at least. Wish ZCP was taken into consideration when designing new products as well. Evolve is it correct the valving is different on ZCP equipped cars? Well struts, shocks, springs, and tuning as well on ZCP cars? I almost bought a set this morning. I think there were 3 sets left. Great product. Innovative
@@EvolveAutomotivethank you so much! What a great kit. I wish I lived in the UK and could have Evolve Automative work on my BMW’s. Much respect. Thank you again for your help.
6:45 this is the worst. Fast B road driving, then sudden temporary traffic lights with the brakes screaming hot lol. This is exactly how my last discs warped.
The E92 came out in 2007 has been out of production for 11 years, so why would you develop "new" suspension for a 17 year old platform? 💀Newer, lower mileage and better value M4's are surely more abundant to dedicate business resources into to generate sales of products. Not hating, genuinely interested in the thought process.
Imran everything you do at Evolve is in the pursuit of excellence 🇬🇧👍🇬🇧👍
For those changing their EDC dampers, remember to ask the garage to reset the EDC control unit so that it knows that new EDC dampers have been installed, so that the wear compensation algorithm is reset.
Isn’t that only if a fault code is currently present?
Just got these to install on my e92 M3 ZCP and wasn’t planning on programming anything.

Sreten installed these yesterday.masterpiece❤
Great to see companies like Bilstein working with you guys. Love to see the bullhead back out again too
The stance looks perfect and that fact you’ve managed to maintain comfort levels is just genius. Well done.

Not sure on any of your changes but we love it 🥰
I’m sure in your summary you said the car now handles well, but I didn’t hear a word as I was too busy enjoying the noise of that V8 😂👊🏾
Having just sold my e46 M3, it’s making the e92 M3 a very attractive replacement!
M539 restorations spoke well about those dampers 😅.

Please don't forget about E93 M3 when developing springs!
i believe stretin has a set in his video too they seem to have worked wonderfully good job fellas
Mad tings Imran ! ? Next you need to drop RAUF style body kits or just a wide arch kit of sorts. Keep up the the good work your doing. Majid.

Just seen Imran's hoodie too. Love that bro ❤🇵🇸
Super neat m3.
Just watched M539’s video putting these on his. I wished my old shocks lasted another year so I could have put these on instead.
God that paint is really something... ❤
Sweet noise and lovely stance. :-)
This is big 🎉
Congrats! And I hope I can get them in the States😊
We ship worldwide ✌🏻
Saw these on strettens channel 👏🏻
Streten seems happy, PS thanks for bringing the english weather to Bimmer invasion lol
This must be your favourite M car now Imran

Hopefully evolve will work towards selling them to fcp euro, ECS, turner so there could be a better warranty in the U.S.

The Bilsteins have an internal bump stop
Seems like they are legit just based on how your voice isn’t shaking while putting the hammer down.
Are any mods with the springs or dampers needed if installed on an e93 m3 since it’s heavier?
It would be great to have journalists review the 'final products', Chris Harris, Sutcliffe etc.
Sreten installed these on his e92
He did!

Yes 👍🏽

No other than retrofitting EDC
Are there a set available for the E60 M5 ?

For the M2 without EDC we recommend Bilstein B16 or B8s + MSS

Because these cars are brilliant and we love them, as do many others.
Ughhhh, I wish you fellas would have gone with Bilstein Clubsports, instead of these lesser dampers. Oh well... Keep up the good work fellas. 👍
The clubsports would be worse for what we are wanting to achieve. They’re very much a track orientated product.
