There are a lot of misconceptions around what protection actually is within the detailing industry. Products like these offer zero protection to your paintwork (won't stop swirls, scratches, etching or chemical staining) but offer beading, which is perceived as protection. Wipe butter on your paintwork, and it'll bead. Only a true ceramic coating or ppf offers any real protection. Everything else just looks good on Instagram.
This is correct, it's usually used between regular visits as a topping agent or stand alone product between washes, not a stand alone long term product. As we only had a few hours to do the whole process & film a ceramic wasn't an option
Hi. How did you get the steering wheel back to a matt finish please? Asking for my 21 year old E46. I would say my steering wheel is clean but it is very shiny. Cheers.
If its shiny, it's dirty, a mixture of steam, an interior scrubbing pad & an interior cleaner is what I use on everyone's car. The amount of dirt the steam removes is remarkable. All leather should be Matte not shiny.
The rotating pressure washer nozzle, those are found on all pressure washers and every single one states it's only for stuff like patio slabs and floors etc, not for painted materials as it is strong enough to flake paint off the surface. I'd wince watching the arch anti corrosion coatings being worn away using such a head.
The rotary nozzle is only used to clean the carpet arches, not the wheels or paintwork, this is perfectly fine on carpet arches and removes all signs of dirt and build up in the arches, the pressure my washer was running whilst doing that ensures no damage can be done also.
Hi Tom, there isn't one brand of products specifically used, I use a range of product's from several brands. Any questions drop me a message on Instagram and I'd be happy to help. Cheers
The pressure can be adjusted using different tips in the gun, its a wide angled tip but you can easily hold your hand in front of the water flow and it does no damage.
As mentioned above, the nozzle in the trigger changes the pressure coming through the Lance, therefore totally safe to use, also this wasn't used close enough to cause any damage even if it was closer. The white nozzle you can spray inches from your skin and it has no effect, it's more the flow of water than the pressure but there are other nozzles you can use which will make the pressure higher
@@simonverigotta41 Interesting feedback, however, using a microfibre that is slightly dirty on my skin doesn't scratch. But it will scratch paint. Hence, I get a little confused when one sprays high pressure water at dirt to remove them. Another example would be a lightly used towel can clean my skin, but it will scratch paint.
@@simonverigotta41 Hi Simon mate, what is the fallout spray that you use? Do you have a discount code or a supplier that you’d benefit from us buying from? Cheers.
Hi George, I am currently using KKD ferrum, which is available online from a few places, unfortunately I don't have a discount code I can give out but this is a pretty well priced product and goes a long way. Cheers
Nice de-badged E92 M3 there👌 Trouble with using ya cars this time of year is the shite they covered in!🙄 Clean all mine in the last week of November & put them away till spring👍
Why would you clean the paint first then clean the wheels spraying wheel and brake dust all over the paint, wheels are the dirtiest part so wheels get cleaned first. Common knowledge

@@simonverigotta41 Thanks for that. I do have a Karcher steamer so will try that and perhaps an APC and a leather brush.
I'd say going with inside first then the outside, otherwise you'll need an extra rinse for the outside at the end.
Looks loads better, well done. I have a set of LCI rear lights which would facelift the rear of your car for sale if interested?
Can you DM me on Instagram @hampshirephotography / email me hampshirephoto@btinternet.com - I’d be interested in them subject to price & condition

Great video man! My boy Simon smashed that!
My man ODD coming through 😘
Would the paint scratch using such high pressure water to clear the initial dirt?
The pressure can be adjusted using different tips in the gun, its a wide angled tip but you can easily hold your hand in front of the water flow and it does no damage.
It won't "scratch" the paint, it just removes it................There is a warning about using "pressure washers" in thehandbook................

You no longer got that partnership with Konings?
What a beautiful car and job on it.
I'm so OCD about my car I couldn't cope if it got that dirty 😂
Great video Luke and good work simon!
Looks much better Luke 🔥🔥
Man, do you drive on dirt roads!?
I loved this man. Watching cars being cleaned is so cathartic
Satisfying stuff
What protection was used in the snow foam
It's a Polymer Coating, many brands now sell this type of protection that's applied through a Lance or a spray bottle

Terrible. I would not get my car cleaned like this even for free of charge.
I had the same with my car 😂😂

Cleans the wheels first to then spray the dirty bodywork n let all the dirt drip all over the clean wheels, pointless and stupid

Boring
