  • 00:00 - 01:34 Those who obey God &live in His will are Jeevan Mukt (liberated whilst alive). They develop an equanimous outlook & see the following things equally: happiness & sadness, gold & dust, immortal nectar & poison, respect & disrespect, paupers & kings. They live in the world realising God controls everything.
01:34 - 07:02 God can change water into a dessert & move wells on top of mountains. Story of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee & Vali Kandari, Guru Jee defeats Vali Kandari, Panja Sahib Gurdwara now marks this spot.
07:34 - 08:00 When Guru Nanak Dev Ji got to Kabul, they moved a mosque from a lower level to the people at the top of the mountain. From then, people started believing in Guru Nanak Dev Ji & even until today, people believe in Him.
08:05 - 10:02 Another place Guru Nanak Dev Ji came to had fields of chickpeas. Bhai Mardana was hungry & so the child who was farming bought some to Bhai Mardana Ji & then had a thought that I should bring something for Guru Ji, like a bedsheet/spread. Bhai Mardana Ji asked Guru Nanak Dev Ji to make the child a sultan/ruler. Guru Nanak Dev Ji told the child that they do not need the spread, but require only your devotion & told the child, “Today you will be made a ruler.” Guru Ji told the child to remain at the palace gate & tomorrow he would become a ruler. The ruler of Kabul had just died & there was no heir to the throne. The ministers decided that whoever they see at the gates of the palace first in the morning, will become the ruler. This was the child & so he became the ruler. This shows how God can make lowly beings into Kings, if it pleases Him. God can also make people on Earth the rulers of Heaven & move people from Heaven to Earth.
12:33 - 22:51 The ruler of angels - Indar Devta was very egotistical & thought "I am the ruler of 33 crore deities/angels so what is the need for me to stand up to Braspati - our Guru when he comes. I don't need him. How does he help me?" So when his Braspati came, he did not get up & bow down. Braspati seeing his ego left. The demons found out about this & realised Indar would no longer be under the protection of Braspati so they got ready to defeat him. Indar lost his kingdom/rule, Nahosh took over ruling earth & the heavens. Nahosh was also dislodged in time. In this way, anyone in the Heavens can be thrown to the ground.
22:51 - 25:23 Yati Raja God first gave him the power in heavens & then because of his ego, he was bought back down.
25:23 - 26:03 In the same way, Hari Chandar gave lots of donations towards charity & was taken to the heavens but then thrown back down. All things are under God's command & nothing is in our control. All happiness & sadness is according to the Creator.
26:03 - 28:32 - By understanding His command, we can stay in peace. We shouldn't get happy or sad. Vasistha told Ram’s brother Bharat to not get angry with his mother & not to blame her for Rams exile.
28:32 - 30:33 Once there was a very dedicated devotee who lived in a jungle & begged for food. He would hang upside down & carry out hard penance. One day, he saw the King’s chariots passing by & thought I should one day become King & see what it's about & experience the happiness. When the Raja saw the devotee, he thought I don't do meditation like this man & asked the devotee to swap places & the devotee accepted. This shows how everything is within God's will.
30:33 - 33:06 - Once a great soul was walking & arrived at the capital of the King where he started satsang & parchaar where lots of people got peace from hearing his teachings. The king became detached after hearing his teachings & made him his Guru & offered his mind, body & wealth. He asked if the great soul would replace him as King while he went on pilgrimages. At first the great soul would not accept but the Kind begged at his feet & he eventually accepted. This shows how God can make Kings become beggars & beggars into Kings. It is all His command & we should accept His will whatever it may be.
33:06 - 38:26 - God can make great intellectuals become fools & fools into great intellectuals. Once there was a Pandit in a kingdom & when his daughter was born, he named her Vidhiavati meaning she has a lot of knowledge. She disrespected her father who married her off to a fool, the fool later became a great intellectual due to the grace of God.
38:26 - 41:31 - Story of Sri Guru Har Krishan Sahib breaking the pride of a Hindu Pandit (priest) who questioned Guru Jee’s spiritual prowess because Guru Jee was a child. Guru Jee got a dumb/mute person to narrate the meanings of the Gita.
41:31 - 42:28 - If it pleases God, a disabled person can climb a mountain & the most intelligent can be made a fool.
42:28 - One pandit was very educated but then got pride in defeating people in debates. Ganga Teli defeated the haughty Pandit.
