      that's the simplest and most essential explanation of lord, for all the humans sepcially religious, who are divided into groups or religions in the name of God should learn about it, the purpose of it is actually making people one and teach the idea of one creation amd creator, or lord , so there would be no conflict on name of God, every human should read it, and the belief if worshipping God in formless being is Also most essential given in Sikhi , it will solve so Many problems , people see Sikhs and Sikhi as community and religion,but i see it as truth, and Gurus as teacher of humanity, and message of Sikhi as universal, it's not any religion or culture but a philosophy, that give answer to the all questions of humans.

    This episode was long overdue. The depths that you've explored in this episode, it's truly remarkable!
    I am a Sikh, and have studied both Guru Granth Sahib (Sikh religious book) and The Bhagwad Gita. The similarities between the two are striking, especially when it comes to the concept of Karma Yoga. Guru Nanak Dev Ji said "Kirt Karo, Naam Japo, Vand Chhako", meaning Do your duty, meditate on the name of the almighty, and share all that you receive with everybody.
    Also the concept of Para-Brahma. Guru Granth Sahib uses the term "ek onkar", meaning there is one God who we all come from and will all return to.
    All to say, I think you must do another episode on Sikhism with more such guests 🙌🏼💯✨

      @@tech_wizard9315 here is the thing bro/sis, karmas cant be erased. Apne beerbiceps ke aur bhi spiritual episodes dekhe honge, and it is very clear that what we sow, we reap. All we can do is be good and do good, and remember the almighty.

    • @gur.naalo.ishq.mithaa
      @gur.naalo.ishq.mithaa ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@tech_wizard9315 I understand your point of view, but tbh that's not how Karma works. The way I look at it is, Karma is like debt. The more bad you do, the more debt you are accumulating, and the more good you do, you are paying back/redeeming yourself from that debt. Obviously this is a very lousy explanation and the discussion of Karma is a very deep one indeed, which cannot be done in the comment section 💁‍♀️
      But here's the thing, Guru Nanak never wanted himself to be worshipped. In fact he called himself a Daas (servant) of the Lord, the Almighty, the Para-Brahma (also referred to as Waheguru, meaning Wah (Wonderful) Guru (Lord/God)). So you shouldn't pray to Guru Nanak, but instead you should try to read all that he has written and follow the teachings given by him. He wanted to enlighten people and make them understand the true meaning of God.
      So according to me, if you want to correct your bad karma and earn good karma, you should follow Guru Nanak's teachings. And just... be a kind and nice person to others around you in general...Kindness is what the world needs a lot more of these days, maybe that'll help you earn good karma really fast :)

From late 70s to mid 90s, Punjab was forced to shut down before 7pm in the evenings, girls were forced to dress in Kurta Pajama, a principal of a college was shot dead by these goons because she told them at least give them a week's time as these girls are from poor background and can't afford to buy new clothes so quickly. Hindus were taken out of buses and shot point blank just because they were not Sikhs. They tortured and raped Hindus girls and gradually Sikh girls too. When the Jatt Sikhs girls were getting abducted, that was when the Jatt community started fighting back these terrorist and the terrorism ended. Don't compare these murderers with Sher-e-punjab maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji. Also please check the facts before commenting. When Bhindrawale was captured by the police for 2-3 days, whole of Punjab was burning. This is when the Hindus were taken out of buses and shot dead. The main reasons give for these rejection are:
      The thread is a sign of discrimination. Low castes are not allowed to wear the janoy.
      It bring no virtue or enhancement to the wearer. It can break easily. It does not have any strength and does not give the wearer any strength.
      It gets filthy very easily; It can be burnt and lost
      It falsely gives the Brahmin a position of spiritual guide - which he really does not deserve. It is a custom created by the Brahmin to exercise and create a empty ritual which only he can perform. It creates this unnecessary "priestly" class.

    This episode is truly enlightening! I strongly recommend that every Sikh should watch it. Harinder Singh, a renowned scholar at Sikh Institute, sheds light on the huge knowledge gap that exists among people regarding Sikhism. Many individuals, including Sikhs, are not fully aware of what the religion truly represents. In this episode, Harinder Singh talks about many aspects of Sikhism that are not widely known, which makes it a valuable resource for anyone interested in learning more about the Sikhi.

    Being raised in a Vaishnava family that has been following Chaitanya Mahaprabhus teachings for over 500 years & also having Sikh relations through marriage & freindship , i testify & bare witness that both paths are almost identical & that both have spoken truthfully & honestly to each other ... Such a beautiful dialogue & discussion between both , warmed my heart & soul ... Guru Nanak & Chaitanya Mahaprabhu actually met at Jagannath at Orissa india 🇮🇳... Both there teachings focuses on bhakti yoga , chanting of the holy name & monotheistic belief in One supreme divine reality that is everything , Karma Dharma Gyan & Dyan & reincarnation , and developing love of God , both Paths teach to protect the sants & sadhus ie the pious & riggteous & fight & oppose the demonic peoples the tyrants & tyranny ... Both include the Naam of Hari Gobind Vishnu etc in there chanting & both do kirtan & serve langar free food for everyone & to rise above kaam krodh lobh & Moh .Vaishnavas believe every bhakta is combination of all 4 castes that realy is one caste which is DAS which means servant of God & Sikh gurus had mainly Das surnames , Vaishnava also believe they are Singhs through Narasingha & Sikhs are also Das & Singhs However the Sikhs are mostly Singhs today not all but most as you have many other Sikhs like Naamdharis & Sevapanthis etc that are more Das by nature , however both advocate Sant Sepoy as there creed and belief in Satsanga or Sangat & that caste system got corrupted , original is by Karam not Janam .Both believe there is no Hindu or Musulman that we are All SOULS ie ATMA . Vishnavas consider both Chaitanya & Nanak as Avatars personification incarnation of the one Supreme Divinity , almost identical with few minor differences ❤😊🙏

    Thank you Ranveer for this lovely conversation. Just came back from Kartarpur myself and I was trying to find more information and clarity which is what led me to here. Big hug!
